Ragnum Legacy. Updated 12/30
« on: May 15, 2016, 11:38:29 AM »
I thought about doing something more laid back for when I need to escape the demands of the decadynasty, so here is this legacy. For now I will follow the rules as written by Pinstar and count points.
The founder is Amelle Regnum, she’s the fifth generation of my failed (and loved) Ragnum Immortal Dynasty. Her traits are family oriented, hopeless romantic, schmoozer, artistic and friendly. LTW: Fashion Phenomenon.

The first thing she did was to register as a stylist. In the salon she met Nicholas, perhaps my favorite to become her husband, but as there was no hearts flying around them I'll let Amelle meet other men for now. If she does not find someone suitable then is going to be him.

“Can I take advantage of you being here and do a makeover to you? I will try to do this with everyone I meet, not only to advance on my profession but to make everyone a little younger for futures generations.”
And this is why I chose this as her career.
Amelle has one male co-worker but there was also no hearts, which is fine with me because I think he has too small eyes.

And third time the charm, right? So it seems.

“So you have a house?”
“A piece of empty land, actually.”
“It is more than I have”.
I think he's an adult, if the expression lines on his face are any indication. So Amelle will continue seeking for a husband.

Just in case, she will continue increasing her relationship with Nick. He seems happy for the attention.

Amelle tried to buy a cake in an empty table, while the child was at another one.

She stood there for a few minutes and then decided to do other things, like looking at the decoration on stage. It must have been quite interesting because she was not the only one.

By the evening she went to the park to gather some flowers, with good results.

And when she was hungry tried her hand with cooking, not the best of meals. The worst is that she was near a picnic basket.

At least with all the gathered flowers she could build a small shelter to not suffer the heat or rain while sleeping. And have enough money for some work items. Now we just need a little money to buy the bench for the drafting table.

Great to see you have another project going! I was happy to see that the founder was a member of the Ragnum ID family  ;D Looking forward to seeing that family keep going strong.

Great to see you have another project going! I was happy to see that the founder was a member of the Ragnum ID family  ;D Looking forward to seeing that family keep going strong.

I had thought to use Amelle in other dynasty but for now I want to concentrate on the one I'm doing. I decided to have at least one in HOF. But on the other hand I have wanted to continue the Ragnums somehow, so here's it.

Amelle was able to buy the stool for the table thanks to one of the most expensive flowers grew in her yard.

In the afternoon she went to visit the trendy bars to continue her search for a future husband. Despite what the newspaper said the first place was pretty empty, only the owner reading a book. Not the more exciting of places.

The next place had enough people, but mostly women and teens. Not one of the most promising nights.

Although there are some that did quite well, especially seeing that none of their partners were in the bar and could unleash their crazy dances.

The next day, Amelle had the misfortune of having her first disastrous makeover. Jessica Willow was her victim client.

Ceres: Now Amelle, look away and try to go unnoticed.

No such luck.

Jessica got angry and told Amelle that her mother was a llama, which it was not taken well by her (and me) for one important reason. Amelle’s mother was Anges Crumplebottom’s clone, and she's like a goddess.
This offense needed an answer.

Unfortunately, the fight was not favorable for Amelle.

In better news for Amelle, she and Nick had a date.

Where their interactions became a little more romantic.

And late at night, and with empty stomachs, they shared their first kiss.

The date ended near dawn, so the next day Amelle was more concentrated on naps than makeovers but it was worth it.

Yeah, Jessica Willow definitely had that slap coming  ::)

More than deserved.

Update:

Amelle invited Nick to her house to hang out together and romance him.

They spent a nice evening together and Amelle thought it was the right time to pop the question but it wasn’t to Nicholas. Poor Amelle.

Although Nick doesn’t reject other types of proposals.

And to end a day that it had not been all that good, she has an unwelcome visitor who stole the chair that she’d saved to buy.

And Hidden Springs’ cop doesn’t seem very efficient. Oh well, a very bad day.

The next day was much better, fortunately, Amelle and Nick have a nice date on the festival and this time he accepted her proposal (of marriage, others were already accepted).

They had a beautiful private ceremony next to the paint booth. Very romantic.

With the money that Nick brought and a few flowers that both collected they could expand the small cabin.

And at night they celebrated their wedding day.

A few days later, Amelle found out she was expecting a nooboo.

Nothing interesting happened until delivery day arrived. Amelle seemed more concerned with her work rather than her pain.

And the first nooboo is Blueberry, who rolled genius and light sleeper.

Daddy and Mommy are constantly paying attention to the little cutie pie. It's good to relax and let them do as they please.

Nicholas wanted to throw a party with banquet, so why not?

Amelle joined the teens to play in the water slider, they don’t seem very happy and she was more concerned about what was happening inside.

So leaving the young in their game, she rejoined the party.

You can never trust too much on these pesky fairies, right Amelle? Her face says it all.

Ah, I just found this! What a lovely legacy! Welcome to Blueberry!

Also, how DARE Jessica EVER insult AGNES! She should've slapped her twice.

I love the outside of the house you've built! I'll be reading along!

Thank you, I hope you're still reading after I have left this story alone for three months.

It was time for Blueberry’s first birthday.

She’s a blond like her mother and has a mixed genetic.  I hope that she’d grow up of that face; it’s not the nicest.
On another note, I searched the hex code for the blueberry color and found several, so I used what I liked the most.

And to celebrate her birthday, the sky gave her a double rainbow.

Blueberry is a cute little bunny.

And like her mother, she poses for the camera.

In addition, she has the murderous trend that all toddler sims seem to have when confronted with the dollhouse.

Or maybe it's just a response to the fact that her mother is pregnant again.

Fast forward two days and was time for another birth.

Contrary to what the sims seem to believe, snow is not the best place to have a child, so I sent Amelle to the hospital where she brought to the world another baby girl. Coconut is another genius who is also a slob.

Although Amelle was the one who made the effort to bring another member to the family, who was exhausted at the end was Blueberry.

Here is a picture to show that Nicholas pays attention to his daughters despite that not seem so in this chapter.

Another party in the house, also desired by Nick, he's wishing all the time to do group activities and parties despite not being an animal party and, as I'm leaving my sims do what they want, I comply.

Besides, these meetings bring people that Amelle can do makeovers.

“Lady, this the third time in two weeks that you change my shirt.”
“I know. I’m purposely extending your life, I have two girls and one of them is going to be my heiress.”

As in every party, there was also dancing. This time is was Amelle dancing with others much to Nick annoyance.

But it was in a harmless way and at the end of the night, when all the guests departed, the couple had a little fun in the snow.

I am still reading! I'm so glad to see you've posted another update! Blueberry is adorable, and I love that you actually found the color blueberry to color her clothes with! ;D
Also, I'm sure Blueberry will grow into her face. My toddlers always seem to have unique faces and then grow into being gorgeous adults.

I can't wait to see Coconut as a toddler!

Just started reading  :=)  It's a lovely little story and Amelle is quite the lovely founder.  Can't wait to see How Blueberry looks when she hits the teen and (young) adult stages!
My favorite shot was the Blueberry sleeping in the potty seat :=)

Thank you, Blueberry is a strange looking sim but I love that she's different.

Blueberry looks distrustfully at the dinosaur, there’s something strange about it.

It’s time for Coconut’s first birthday, the family is happy that the baby days passed.

And now, to reveal how the girl looks like.

She’s all her father, nothing of her mother so far. Like with Blueberry, I colored her clothes with the Coconut hex code. It’s almost white but it suits her.

To not be less and so her sister doesn’t steal her protagonism, Blueberry aged to child and rolled the Angler trait to accompany Genius and Light Sleeper. Good traits so far.

“I need a makeover, I already passed the hat stage.”

Here’s Blueberry in her blueberry outfit, so far she’s a decent looking sim (better than toddlerhood at least), who is a blend of her parents.

Amelle and Blueberry enjoyed the last day of snow. Hidden Springs is a really beautiful place in winter.

While Coconut was engaged in the sim- toddlers’ favorite hobby, try to behead dolls and scream frustratedly when she doesn’t succeed. A beautiful little angel.

Blueberry wished to go fishing immediately after aging to child, but I let her wait until the first spring day because I didn’t want to make her stand on the snow all day.

“Because under the rain is much better.”
Since this isn’t a dynasty and I letting my sims do what they want, she passed all weekend in the kid’s park near her house enjoying herself. I’m such a good watcher.

Amelle taught Coconut all the toddler’s skills because I can’t help myself and even though I know I have to roll a trait I feel bad if I don’t teach the nooboos their skills.

Always after duty, comes the moment of fun.

The next birthday was Nick’s, I didn’t celebrate his birthday, there is already too much cake in the fridge.

And with this photo I close today’s update because photobucket is being a pain right now and I’m going to make you guess the sex the new nooboo.

Ooh! A little boy would be just lovely, though the girls are too adorable as it is! So hard for me to decide.

Coconut's a doll - though not a literal one lest she lose her head (in an attempt to bite it off via another toddler).

Can't wait to see the new baby!

I'm still team Blueberry.  Excellent traits, a good blend of the genetics, and mutters at her Watcher for letting her go fishing in the rain.  Can't beat that!

I'm not decided yet, I like Blueberry but I like Coconut and D... too! The three are really different.

They're fun to play too, especially Coconut.
