Feeling a bit blue..


Voice:So do you want to take family leave?
Hebe:Nah lets go have some fun at work.
Voice:Cool what shall we do.
Hebe:Talking about cool,I have an idea.
Voice:Somehow I thought you might.

Hebe:Pahah this is so funny.
Voice:Who did you freeze?
Hebe:The receptionist. Teach her to put my call in a queue.
Voice:Are you planning on cracking her open?
Hebe:No not yet let her stay on hold for a bit see how she likes it.
Voice:What did we call the Simray?
Hebe:Dave.
Voice:Fair enough.
Hebe:You don't want to know why?
Voice:With you there is never a reason why.
Hebe:Lets go do some work, we can unfreeze Kacey later.
Voice:Is that even her name?
Hebe:Of course it isn't.

Just before the end of the shift we remember to crack open Kacey.

Kacey:Wwwait aaa mmminute are you tttrying ttto attack me wwwith aaa hhhammer.
Hebe:What hammer.
Kacey:That hammer the hammer you are currently holding.
Hebe:I have no idea what you are talking about.
Kacey:And what is the puddle of water did you freeze me?
Hebe:Of course not that puddle is my waters breaking.
Kacey:I don't believe you.

Kacey:You are such a liar.
Hebe:I am not. I am in labour ooh ow the pain.
Kacey:I am going to kill you.
Hebe:Oh don't be blue.
Kacey:Is that some kind of joke.
Hebe:Voice I think we need to leave.
Voice:I told you we should have defrosted her earlier.

About 5 hours later we went to the hospital for the arrival of baby Smith.

Kacey randomly walked into the delivery room waited until the baby was born. Walked over to the crib and stared at the baby for several moments and walked out. She is still very blue we may or may not have given her hypothermia.


Voice:Another blueboo.
Hebe:Are you saying that something actually went to plan.
Voice:Oh yes it did. Hello pollinator Smith.
Hebe:I prefer to call him Dexter.
Voice:Ladies and gentleman say hello to Dexter Smith.

Oh man, i missed so much!  First off, LOVED that Hebe went to a club meeting whilst in labor!  Secondly, love Sparrow!  The wedding was hilarious!

Aw, gotta feel for Matt!  At least he found Dina in the end.  Your Sparrow is 100% adorable.  I can't wait to see what Dexter grows up to look like.  I had to laugh when Kacey appeared at the hospital hours later, still blue.

Just another day at the Smiths.

Firstly very important baby montage.







Sparrow:Stop hitting me.
Olivia:You stop hitting me first.
Sparrow:No you started it.
Olivia:You started it.
Voice:Wait what is going on here.
Sparrow:You clicked on monkey around and now we are hitting one another.
Voice:And now your relationship is tanked.
Sparrow:Looks like it.
Voice:Well that is not at all helpful.


Voice:Are you feeling okay?
Kacey:Yes fine thank you. Why do you ask?
Voice:No reason you just seem a little off colour.
Kacey:Have you seen that crazy blue woman you know the one who froze me?
Voice:That was two days ago wasn't it.
Kacey:Yes.
Voice:Do you own a mirror?
Kacey:Why do you ask?
Voice:Erm no reason no reason at all.

Matt:So err man you know.
Pablo:Yeah.
Matt:Yeah?
Pablo:*nods*
Voice:Well that was all kinds of emotional.
Pablo:Women am I right?
Matt:Yeah!
Pablo and Matt:(both nod)
Voice:Well I am glad we have that sorted out. At least I hope you have things sorted I am not sure what has really happened.

Hebe:Who is a clever robot yes he is yes he is.
Colin:Aw shucks.
Voice:Aww it looks like everyone is making friends.
Hebe:Lets go use Dave to transform a chair.
Ten seconds later.
Voice:Was that worth all the effort.
Hebe:I transformed  a chair into a new object.
Voice:Yes you made a different chair.
Hebe:It was still transformed.
Voice:Nobody in the history of the world has ever been excited about an object transforming into almost exactly the same object.
Hebe:They might have.
Voice:No,no they have not. No child ever went that is awesome optimus prime just transformed into a slightly different robot.
Hebe:Some people are overly critical.
Voice:Well make something better next time.

Matt:Look at all the fish we have caught.
Voice:Oh well done people.
Sparrow:Daddy is that enough for the dynasty.
Pablo(counting on fingers)Well we have seven altogether.
Voice:So that is barely enough to keep your Granny immortal for two months.
Pablo:We are trying our best.
Voice:I know you are sweetie it just seems kinda hard right about now. Anyway lets go have Dexters birthday.


Dexter:Dad a little help.
Pablo:Arghah is it supposed to do that?
Voice:Oh my good lord what in the name of simnation is that.
Dexter:I appear to be stuck can someone help a kid out.

Dexter:So maybe if I just twist my arm right off...
Pablo:Make it stop.
Stella:Mum make him evil cause that would be soooo cool.
Voice:I am not making the creepy baby evil.
Stella:But mum.

Pablo:Can I open my eyes yet?
Voice:I wouldn't if I were you.
Pablo:What is it doing?
Voice:I think it is smiling. Dear lord above I think its smiling.
Stella:That is so funny.
Voice:You are not helping. Great now its invisible.
Stella:Do you really want to look at it.
Voice:No I Can live without seeing that face.

That is so funny!  I couldn't stop laughing, and I loved the idea to make him evil.  I'm now going to have nightmares.

I like how you started out with a normal, goopy, everyone-loves-the-baby montage to throw us off guard first.

I cried during that intensely emotional scene between Pablo and Matt.  Oh the feels! (not)

That has to have been the weirdest child age-up I've ever seen. I kept thinking to myself that it couldn't get any weirder, but it did.
Did you worry when it was actually playing out, though?

Mwahahahaha.  Dexter Dexter Dexter.. I was thinking you would live up to your name but now I'm wondering in which capacity that is going to happen. 

Your talk between Pablo and Matt was perfect.  But you know Voice.. at least they said words and didn't just stare at each other.

As for the transforming one object into another object that's almost exactly the same.  Artie randomly gets excited over this too.  Maybe it's an insane thing.  I'd say we could get someone to research but I'm not sure someone spending time with Hebe and Artie would be a good thing.

We got a new stuff pack.

Steve(ratchies real life other half):Did you get a new expansion pack?
Rachel:No I  got a stuff pack.
Steve:Isn't it the same thing?
Rachel:*Goes into very long and technical explanation until Steves eyes glaze over*
Steve:So you basically bought a stuff pack so that your Sim can throw a party.
Rachel:Yep pretty much.
Steve:That is almost as odd as the time you rang me at work to tell me you could finally buy a wall.
Rachel:This is what happens when you marry a simmer. Now go away I have to build.


Look I built a spooky house purely for spooky parties. This means I only have to decorate once. I think its the work of a genius who hates building.
Anyway back to the story.


Voice:*yelling over loud music*Wow this party is pretty easy.
Hebe:Yeah the pizza guy costume is pretty cheesy.
Pizza guy:You said you liked my outfit.
Hebe:We have lots of places to sit.
Pizza guy:That's not what I said.
Hebe:Yes you all will end up dead.
Pizza guy:Wait what?
Voice:I think we should go outside.

Katrina:I am going to be a grandmother you know.
Jeff(only not really):Wow you don't look it.
Katrina:So are you single?
Jeff:Help!

Sports announcer:Welcome to the first ever spooky party pumpkin carving contest. Darth Maul took an early lead but lost it when he spent five minutes facing the wrong way. Princess Sparrow lost some ground in the initial stages by needing to pee. Yoda is coming in strong with the force could he pip astronaut Matt at the final hurdle. No its a win for Matt. The crowd goes wild.

Voice:Right so how are we doing? Vis a vis partay.
Hebe:Somebody just needs to go view the pumpkins then we are done.
Voice:Wow this was easy.
Hebe:Wait for it...bam spooky gold medal!

The next day.

Nina:Owwwwwwwwwwwwww!
Voice:Have you been here all night?
Nina:Owwwwww.
Voice:Well just leave then. Clicks buttons.
Pop up:Sim is already leaving.
Voice:Fair enough.
Several hours later.
Voice:She quite obviously isn't leaving. Right family out of the house lets see if that convinces her to leave.

Authors note it took most of the day to get Nina to leave. I was getting irritated.

After stalking Nina back at her own house and Matt getting into a huge argument with Don we gave up on waiting for the baby and went home.  We finally got a phone call 36 Sim hours after Matt did the baby is coming panic dance to tell us that baby Girl Sawyer had been born.

Artie and I approve of your spooky house.  Looks awesome.  And oh the pregnant woman dance woes.  I had that happen with Cara and Yuki.  It's like.  LEAVE ALREADY AND LET ME KNOW WHAT IT WAS kthx. 

Grats on the new gold medal and umm.. Matt having issues?  Now I can't wait to see it.

Oh and *confetti* new stuff packs are always nice.  Now I'm being told we have to have a spooky party.
