WOW, That's awesim! I just have a plain old BSc... I should have gone into something computer related (maybe then I could find a job in my field lol) but the Biological Life Sciences just called my name too loudly to be ignored.

I really like this. I love the name of your founder I was planning on naming my gardening heir Gaia but I changed my mind. Also the reason my founder is Hebe in both the Sims 3 and 4 was all about being the one who made the ambrosia.

Wow.. your sims are absolutely stunning in their makeovers.  I was wondering why your Sims looked like that and then you said it was a filter.  I think it's a nice touch!  Gaia is gorgeous and I'm sure she's going to have fun with Don and the Calientes!  Can't wait to see what happens next.

@ratchie I recently read all of your sims 4 work, and I really love your storytelling style. I really think it suits the game's already quite absurd silliness you find in their descriptions of families, and objects.

@Ricalynn Thanks so much! I also have the Smoothish default skin CC by LumiaLoverSims, and Gaia also has a skinblend made by simsweetie that gives her that great definition around her nose and collarbones. I'm still figuring out the editing with filters, as I'm not so find of how much paler Gaia gets by the end of it. I'm trying to bring a little skin diversity into my legacy, especially with all the mythologies that I've selected goddess names from for my future generations.

I will be posting a short bit of a chapter by late tomorrow hopefully!

Chapter One // Skilling and Sass

Gaia: When are you going to tell me who has trapped me?

I told you I don’t know. I’m not confident enough to let you away from skilling until you complete something towards your license.

Gaia: I am disappointed. This body needs to much sleep.

Uh, yeah, you have the best of all beds, and you’re not going to get the Never Weary trait, so, get used to it, lady.

Gaia: If you could only move yourself to the other side of the room, I might ‘maximize’ this Writing faster.

How’s the painting going, Katrina?

Katrina: Now you’re here to bother me, too?

Seems so. Any requests?

Katrina: I think I’m willing to take a pay cut to earn a better easel. Also, I’d like one of those jazz paintings for my bedroom, make it feel less generic.
Can do.

Katrina: Now go away. Being a dynasty slave is hard enough without you hovering around.

Heyyyyy Dina…. You’re not going to yell at me, are you?

Dina: Well, once I realized that you were right about that white lipstick not doing me any favors, I  got over it. Besides that, I’m the only one to keep my aspiration! And I really like my new look.

Do you, uh, need anything? I’m still wrapping up the house, and filling in spaces.

Dina: Can we put some blue in my room? I’m quite fond of it after you got me all these blue clothes for my closet. Maybe some curtains, too. Working weird hours and sleeping in a window box don't always go together.

Okey-dokey. Pretty soon you and Gaia get to tag-team a couple of parties for your aspirations.

Dina: Looking forward to it!

Nina: Watcher!

Yes?

Nina: While you're wandering around taking notes on our progress and pretending you care what we think about the stupid house, I’m chained to this stupid chess table!

You got to read some books.

Nina: Yeah, Reel Her In is such a page turner. The description even says its for chauvinists!

I just told you to read something. Not my fault you grabbed that one.

Nina: Whatever, Watcher. Why’d you pick the lazy sim to be your house cleaner?

Because I didn't like your lemon sucker face. And because I needed you all to move in for your money. Now, go learn to insta-upgrade.

Nina *rolls eyes*

Don: (speaking in mirror) Hey girl, take a look at these guns!

You just gendered a mirror.

Don: I’m practicing talking to girls, just like you told me.

That doesn't mean I can’t pick on you, dude.

Don: So, why am I doing this?

Because I’m not using your aspiration points for anything other than POY. I’m missing out on Renaissance Sim points, but I think I’ll live. And some women need more wooing.

Don: Madeline Keller like my wooing just fine.

She also happened to be the only unmarried female townie I could find.

Don: Ohhh.

Yes. Oh. It’s my first dynasty. I can’t afford morals yet. I don’t know how hard it is to populate a town for that many generations. Not when all the in-game couples are too dysfunctional to make their own babies for me.

Don: Don’t tell Gaia that.

What? She doesn’t care about the state of Sim marriages, she just wants to go home.

Don: The other thing.

Ohh. Crap. I didn’t say it, and you didn’t hear it, okay?

Don: Only if Bella gets to be the first married lady in line for some Lothario lovin’.

*gagging sounds* Don, I know you're sweet, deep, deep, down inside, but you’re a little gross on the outside.

Don: Deal or no deal, Watcher?

Deal.

How’s that skill building coming along?

Gaia: I have written a book about patting badgers, and now I seem to be writing lots of poetry.

You’re a perfectionist, so you craft slow. I’m lying to myself and saying you write poetry fastest.

Gaia: Poems are not lovelier than trees. Poems do not grow. They also do not contain chlorophyll.

I’m not the one suggesting titles. Argue with your computer on that one.

Look at you! Keep up the strong start!

Also, go Don! You can do it! ;)

This was hilarious. For such an early chapter in this Dynasty you're doing excellent!

You're off to such a fantastic start!
I love your full-bodied founder--she's so expressive!

The makeovers and lookbooks (oooh, I wish I knew how to do these!) are great!
I like Dina's makeover the best. For me, Don's not as cute without the moustache, but we all have our own tastes. ;-)

P.S. You can fish up the pomegrante from the pond in Sylvan Glade.

Chapter Two // Baby Steps

Hey! I’m back from Wonder Watcher Camp! I know lots of things about skill crunching and club mongering, and I’m ready to get this dynasty a-rolling!

Dina: I’ve been standing here, with this fridge half open, for over two weeks. What’s Gaia going to say about the power bill?

Let me tell you a little something-something. It’s not a power bill. It’s taxes. Its not how many lights are on, its how much money the lights are worth, ok? Besides, while a Watched sim may feel the passing of time if I’m Watching another ‘verse, time doesn’t actually pass here.

Dina: Far out.

Let’s pull up the club, start a gather— Whoa!

Gaia: Is there a problem, sorceress—

Good Gourds! You know I’m a Watcher!

Gaia: I was asking you a question.

We don’t have a club. I could have sworn we had a club. There’s Don’s club. I must have forgotten to make one. That’s easily fixed. Some people went entire dynasties without clubs. You’ll be fine, missing five or so days.

Gaia: All is well, now?

Well enough. Go back upstairs and get some Writing on. We need points, for boosts and things. And you need to beat an aspiration to get Connections and kick butt at your career.

Gaia: Not more poems!

(forgot to take this picture, will put one in soon)

Thank you for all the masterpieces, Katrina, Your daughter can finish up her aspiration now that we’ve got money for the rocket.

Katrina: When do I get to be done with MY aspiration?

Soon, soon enough. We have to take a trip to get Don started on his fitness aspiration, and we should probably do that for all of you, really.

Katrina: So we can live long slave lives for you?

So you have time to enjoy your life before it’s over.

Katrina: We’ll see about that, won’t we?

When Gaia finishes her book, it’s party time, ok? We have two missions for you tonight. Mix some drinks, and help Don make sure we get gold.

Dina: How many parties are we doing?

Probably one, but maybe two.

Add them to your club, go for a roll, give them a new look, and send them on their way, huh?

Don: Most of them want kids, so they actually appreciate what I’m doing. ‘Mortimer’s too gloomy’, Bella says. ‘Bjorn spends all his time in the Gardening Club with Moira’, Clara says. The makeovers are an excuse as to why they were gone all day. When the baby comes, it's their bridge to cross.

This picture will replaced with a more attractive collage soon, I just really want to get this chapter up, missing screenshots and all

I feel slightly better about all these married women now.

Don: I never said any of this makes it right. I just said they wanted to be pregnant as much we want them to, but for different reasons.

Gold Dinner Party Accomplished!

Dina will be fine after a shower, don’t worry about her pouty face too much

Gaia Diua, you just maxed Writing! Only like, a ton of things to check off before you can have ambrosia, and then seven more generations!

Gaia: Do not speak of my obstacles as such, you make it sound so, tedious, and quite insurmountable.

How do you feel?

Gaia: If I have to write another couplet, it will not end well.

We’ll switch to a different genre, after this book.

Hey Don! Nine babies already! And you haven't visited Summer, Liberty or Zoe yet, or even half the YA ladies in Windenburg!

(I've just been adding them straight to his club from the menu, now he has to actually meet ladies)

Don: Well that’s cool.

Do you want to meet them?

Don: Can we wait for them to leave their cradles? That's a lot of diapers that I’m not ready to handle.

Gaia! You have enough points! Now you can work while you grind out those bestsellers and wait for your royalties.
Gaia: That is good? Are we celebrating now?

We totally can, if you want. I was hoping to wait till Don’s first crop leave the cradle? I want to meet them, and help them look adorable.

Gaia: That is fine by me, sor— ahem, Watcher.

Oh, squid, tell me I didn’t!

Gaia: What seems to be the problem now?

I had you start the Writer career earlier, it seems, and now you aren’t going to get any of the benefits from being Connected. I’ve wasted a lot of your time.

Gaia: I will be able to acquire 9 promotions in 30 days, I think. Nina is a well-trained masseuse, is she not?

Yeah, she is, and the club vibe still works at work, and if I watch the clock, you can get a massage every day before work. This will be fine. Your second aspiration is mostly waiting, anyway. You can’t rush plants, you know.

Gaia: I am going to go practice ‘yoga’. You expressed a wish that this, wellness skill, be the third skill for each of my immortal descendants?

Yeah, it means I can just send you up to the roof to meditate when I don’t need you in my hair, without waiting for you all to learn it, and I also don’t have to bring in anyone with masseuse skills once Nina moves on.

Somebody’s about to have a baby. Is it Mila, or Madeline’s second one already?

Don: If I knew, I don’t think there’s a way for me to tell you. Just, uh, keep an ear out for ringing phones? We’ve missed most of the momma calls.

I will. We’ll check on Mila, give her a nice massage from Nina, and let her go home, if it is her that’s in labor. Okay?

Don: Yeah, whatever, you make the plans, I’m just going to keep freaking out, okay?

Cute! But, I said massage. Let’s go, let's go, pregnant lady trying to have your baby, here.

Thank you, Nina.

Nina: Hey, Watcher? I may not like you, but this is a pregnant woman in discomfort for the benefit of some ‘goddess’s’ dynasty. This is the least I can do for her.

Point taken.

Madeline and Mila have both called. You have eleven children, now, five boys, and seven girls.

Don: That’s nice, it might be time for round two, then?

Oh, why not?

Dinaaaa! You maxed both Cooking skills, and Mixology, and you’re not even an adult.

Dina: What’s next, Watcher?

Well, just promotions, and finishing your aspirations, for now. Gaia still needs to get the garden ready, and we haven’t done any fishing yet.

Nina. You're done with this chess table. Forever. What would you like to do next?

Nina: Anything else, Watcher.

Serial Romantic isn’t intensive, and all the Clients are Romantic. Wanna break some hearts, and skill up your Mischief for the next aspiration?

Nina: I’d love to *sinister laugh*

I know you're not too happy right now, but the next time you go to work, you’re guaranteed a promotion.

Gaia: Who stopped the Gathering while I was at work? I stopped feeling inspired, and became incredibly tense!

Blame Don. He was firing up his club for some baby-making and I clicked the wrong thing.

Gaia: Someone get me a massage, or there will be murder tonight!

A Word From the Editor:
Gaia: 7 Days to Adult
Pollinator Babies: 11
Dina: Mixology [10], HCooking [10], GCooking [10], Master Chef [2/ 4], Master Mixologist [2/4] (Needs to reach level 4 of her career, and needs to join the mixology branch to continue)
Ambrosia Ingredients: Lily [X], Snapdragon [X], Orchid [-], Apple [X], Cherry [-], Pomegranate [-], Death Flower [-], Angelfish [-], Potions of Youth [11]
Gaia; Writing [10], Gardening [4], Bestselling Author [3/4], Freelance Botanist [1/4] (3 bestsellers and approx. 16.5k simoleons in royalties to go)
Katrina: Painting [10], Photography [-], Painter Extraordinaire [3/4] (one more masterpiece to go)

@LivvieLove I have a club. I have Don's house in the basement (the rest of the house is full of windows and not-walls, and I figure people don't want to see them) He has a Cordelia bed, the Coral Garden painting and a couple of flirt lamps. I swap members in the club, invite the girl down with 'go here together', and with 5 charisma and the flirty club activities, they usually do pretty well, and then it's the next one on the list)

@Nettlejuice I know it can prolong life a bit much. I'm probably not going to complete it for everyone, maybe just to the max fitness check, and swap their aspirations out. Heirs will not even think about it after they clear the third segment, I'm just trying to farm as many points and bodybuilder isn't too difficult with a mentor.

Thanks so much for your lovely compliments!

Oh it's so nice to see Gaia and her troupe again!

Don is obviously doing well with his pollinating responsibilities!

Also - remember the fitness aspiration is actually banned for completion.  As in no Hall of Fame, against the rules for everyone.  I think that's what Nettlejuice was trying to say.

Oh and I wanted to mention if you ever need a collage quick, I'm a big fan of Picmonkey the website.  Not a lot of thought needed and it's super easy to use for quick edits too!

@Ricalynn When I last went over the rules, I thought that it (Bodybuilder) was banned only for immortals in the household, but I just looked again --

Quote
"Household members cannot complete the Bodybuilder Aspiration, use Potions of Youth, Essence of Life (from cowplant), Book of Life (from writing skill), Plead with the Grim Reaper to save a dying sim, use Age-Away Serum, wish for Youthful Vigor from the wishing well, or any other methods of extending life"

Glad nobody completed that yet.

I have a collage function in my current program, I just wasn't fond of the screen grabs I had to work with while editing last night.
