I hope Joaquin isn't a DBBD ;) Best of luck with your legacy and thank you for sharing, I know it can be nerve wracking to share for the first time. As for saving the house, go into build mode and save the lot to your gallery library. Next move to the lot you want as your new home, open gallery in build mode, find your lot and place down. Here is a tutorial.

Shan, I am so freaking scared, I wanna puke! lol
You all make this look so bleeding easy... But, I've decided, I'm going to approach it more as a "just say what happened and hope for the best" tale. Maybe for the future gen's I'll have more of an idea of what I want to say, I think if I'd had YA pics, it would have been a lot better

Great start, Magpie! I love how your blog is formatted and your use of different colors for different voices.
And wow, Karda is a huuuuge baby mama!

I'm a noob, too, but I'll share advice anyway: Don't fret, have fun, and just be yourself. You are fabulous already.  ;D
Looking forward to your next update, girl.

P.S. Your legacy challenge is based on a contest featured on boolprop? Just wondering.

Thanks Oshi! Not based on a contest on Boolprop, but it's being posted because of The Great Boolprop Olympics (TGBO). Basically, my "House" gets points for every 5 generations I have posted. And since I was sharing it there, I thought I should share it on the forum that has given me the most amazing authors to read and characters to fall in love with, as well! Plus, without Carl's, there would be no Karda! She is my club-hopping, banner-buying, club-disbanding muse! I do hope to redeem Joaquin in the eyes of the forum though :-( he is so cute with little *name redacted* :-) I had him lined up before the DBBD issue cropped up. He is a scrawny little thing though! But, I have him on the weight machine every chance I get lol he's no Colt, but I'll make him at least passable ;-)

I just hope the format is ok on the eyes of our elder members (please don't hesitate to tell me if it isn't! I will change it in a heartbeat to be more user/reader friendly!) Which is kinda why I chose the different colours, and chose dark colours. So they stand out better on the white background. My main text might be a bit pale though... Hmm... Think I'll go change it to standard black next weekend or if I have time this week *she says as if she doesn't already know RL will interfere*

Thanks for the support!

So I have some bad news, friends :-( our modem is fried :'( so I am currently internet-less! On the plus side, I can now complete the Growfruit challenge and get those cute little pots ;-) my parents are on the way to our ISP to see what can be done, and I'm hoping to be back in the Story Game by next weekend! Hold thumbs!

Sorry to hear about your troubles!   :(  At least you can still play!  When I don't have net, that's usually where I start writing my chapters in notepad/ OneNote with numbered screenshots.

This looks great!  I can't wait to read more when you get the chance.

OMG O_O Rica, you found my story *fangirling*

Yeah, I'm toying with the idea of writing it up, but, I'm pretty much approaching this with a "flying by the seat of my pants" style. Hey, I just realized, I'm a pantser :-D whoohoo! I think I'll be a lot less stressed out by this if I just go with whatever jumps into my head at any given time lol I tried planning my NaNo story and that totally bombed, so trying something different this time.

I will admit that your relationship with Artie and Livvie's with her Reaper's, is kinda an inspiration for me. I don't think I'd be able to do this if I couldn't break the 4th wall. Heck, I don't think my sims would let me anyway ;-)

Edit: and how could I forget Play and Winston, and Shan and Colt! You guys all make this look like so much fun, I've just never had the guts or a reason to try... And, then we have NJ with her Kessy... So many great stories to look up to. If I can be half as good as what I read from y'all, I will be satisfied!

Sorry to hear about your troubles, I know I can't last a day without the internet, lol. You know it's a great community like this that keeps me going and I know you can do it too  ;D

Thanks NJ :-)

I'm so thankful for smartphones, so I can at least keep (relatively) up to date with the stories here, I just wish my *word redacted* Tapatalk would actually load the images :-( I end up clicking on them to open in my browser, but you still miss a lot of stuff that way!

I am going to fire my game up now, and see if I can get any cute pictures of the unnamed child ;-) I'm using a random legacy generator for each generation, to decide whether they will be single, how many kids, what career, etc... And let's say that Gen 2 is gonna be interesting lol I already know the kid(s) traits and aspirations (courtesy of Pinstar and Mystic's trait generator). I just hope I can do all of the stuff I need to with Karda before she ages to Elder. Starting at Adult stage is both a blessing and a curse. The blessing is that she was maxing skills like Charisma which has serious uses, but (curses) she only has so much time now in which to have kids!
