Some English sentences, I sometimes don't understand what they mean. Is there anyone would explain this what this chief is saying? Very confusing she is saying my sim is like an officer who gets hit 3 burglars in the last 24 hours and sounds like praising but she is commanding my sim get back to work straightaway. I'm sorry for asking this one.  If it's against rule, I apologize you.

The officer has been "hit with" 3 burglaries, etc. That means that these crimes have happened, not that the officer has solved the cases.

The chief always says something like 'get back to work' when your sim talks to him/her. Even when your sim is doing a good job and getting promoted. Just a quirk of the game.

Yes actually I have a complain with that.  So 'talk to the chief' mission is the one I don't want to try in detective career.
