Scarlet - Mom.. what are we doing up here with the cakes we don't want anyone to eat?
Margaret - Well.. there's something I wanted to tell you and up here is kind of like a family tradition.
Scarlet - I thought our only family tradition was feeding the Grims.
Margaret - *chuckles* Well this is another one.   Come here.


Margaret - I wanted you to know that I got my second notice. 
Scarlet - Mom..
Margaret - Now now.  There's no reason to really cause a fuss.  We're probably about to spend the night as a family together but I wanted a few minutes just us.  The last Goths.


Scarlet - You're forgetting Ash and Air.
Margaret - Sometimes I forget that.
Scarlet - I think everyone does.  So what do you want to do for your last night?
Margaret - I have an idea..

Aria - Yeah I don't know why he thinks I'll protect him.
Margaret - Hey.. it's my night.  Air switch with Artie and I'll protect you.

Air - You okay?
Ash - I felt it.. I heard it.  There's a firefly!
Air - Yeah we have like a lot from Mom's time in the woods.

Artie - Markus!  What are you doing?!
Aria - Don't you know Dad?  He has to randomly do push ups like 15 times a day now that we can do whatever we want.

Addy - Okay everyone teleport where I tell you to.

Aria - Psst Addy.. What are we doing?
Artie - Okay everyone.. I want you to look behind you at the game pads all lined up.  When Addy says go.. You are to jump into your assigned gaming device and all jump into the same tournament of BlicBloc.  We're all practically professionals here so may the best of us, me, win.


Addy - Ready..... Set.... Go!


Addy - The three veteran members of our home team are in the lead with Baby Margaret pulling ahead of Big Red.  Can Dr Patience get the lead or will the younger crew catch up?  Whoa!  That block almost took off the head of our young heir.  Hopefully he doesn't lose too much time..


Addy - Looks like we got a three way tie going here with the tournament getting close to its end..


Addy - Mags, what's wrong?
Margaret - It's time.
Addy - Oh.. *sniffs* okay.


Everyone gathers around to gasp and start crying.
Air - Man I think if you'd just held on a little longer, you would've won Maggie.
Reaper - And who do we have here...


Addy - Leave her alone.
Reaper - Why should I?
Addy - She's not why you're here. 


Reaper - A video game farewell?
Artie - *snickers*  I figured it was a good way to spend your last couple of hours.
Reaper - Only in your family.
Artie - She was family.  Not only by blood of my son-in-law this time but from being here.
Reaper - Stop looking at me like that.
Artie - Like what.


Aria - It's been swell but the swellings gone down now and I have work *waves*
Reaper - *waves* Don't get dressed on my account.
Artie - *waves* Okay sweetie.. and you can stop looking at her like that.
Reaper - Like what?


Artie - So.. about our business.
Reaper - *looks at Addy* Do you mind?
Addy - Oh I'm sorry am I not supposed to be here.
Reaper - No.. you're not. 
Artie - Go check the twins..


Addy - You know.. Ash doesn't get to play with these often.. but you have no excuse Air.
Air - We both know these things aren't perfect no matter who is using them.
Ash - And we're both kind of in a bummed mood.
Addy - Everything looks purple to me.
Ash - Yes but we're actually really sad.
Addy - That why you're hitting the moodlet solvers again?
Air - We thought everyone should have one if they'll take it.
Addy - That's.. actually good thinking.  Good job boys.. I mean if you can actually manage to make clones.
Air - Shush!



Ricanote:  I've recently spent some time working on a minor little project and it is very much completely not even close to being done.  However, I would like to go ahead and share the beginnings of something that I think everyone might like as a companion to the story.  It doesn't contain too many spoilers for now so we should be good! 

I give you "The Grim Connections" Feel free to let me know how bad it is or anything like that.  I don't mind feedback at all!

RIP Margaret--it makes me wonder if Artie knew her time was near. As a reaper, does he have a spidey sense about other sims' impending deaths?

I love your Grim Connections. Not only does it remind how the various sims that hang out at The House are related to your Grims and to each other, I can see who looks like who and see the color variations, like Melody Holder and Cara Rupp weren't the same shade of purple.
The grim bunnies are too cute.

I would like to think that Artie has that spidey sense (especially since I get notifications for in the house).  Though we've kind of done things with members outside the house before they pass too.  I just so miss the death notifications we used to get.  Right now I'm scared to leave the lot in case I miss one of those extended family members pass.  I shouldn't be that way since we're only so attached but at the same time! I want there to be a graveyard.. I want there to be death notifications to spend time with family friends. 

Also wanted to mention about Grim Connections - I kind of plan to do pages for everyone and if there is any information you'd like to see on there, I could probably do it because I'm all over this project lately haha.

I love Wix!  I've used it extensively in my RP stuff.  I even had a Grim over there with a bakery page (if you want to see I can show you). So when I decided I wanted a family tree, I knew I had to do something big like using wix.  It's perfect for that kind of thing actually.

Most of the site was actually reconfigured by me after I started with a one page basic blank template.  I'm comfortable enough with the easiness of the editing that I just worked with what I liked and asked a few very sweet people to answer some questions on layout, information for me. Both oshizu and Trip were very helpful and figuring out things that should definitely be there before I gave the link out.

Rica, I'm pleased there are others like me who like Wix! I know of a couple of professional website designers who are snobs when it comes to such things, and consider "its not a real website if you have to use Wix or any package like that" because "those packages are a blight upon the internet".

I just say whatever and design another page in Wix and show it off to them.

@Nettlejuice It is!  However I have had Gen 4 in my game for a few days now and I couldn't show the restaurant in the file so it was saved and placed somewhere else for my possible legacy founder to visit so I could take pictures and play test.  I had the idea right after Dine out was released from looking at the pictures of Margaret's final days.  I've been avoiding that update because it's sad even if I didn't write it up that way.

The Grim Connections are so great! And it was nice to see a picture of young Margaret right after she passed. She was so lovely! Glad she got such a great send-off.

@FrancescaFiori I try to take really good care of all my spares with everything going around and I know they don't get nearly as much screen time as the heirs and immortals.

This lovely picture is the result of one of Air's parties after work combining with Margaret's last prank. I still can't believe I keep forgetting to redress Markus's sisters. Whoops.   But the green is from the thing Bridgette is eating.  Margaret, who completed the two food aspirations, made Plant Matter Ice Cream before passing and leaving it out for people to eat.  It wasn't until after her death that Reid's Brood finally got some.


Bridgette - This isn't very funny.
Addy - I don't know.. the color seems to suit you.
Bridgette - I like being purple..
Addy - Yes but this way you match your headphones!


Aria - *gasps* Oh My Watcher.. did you hear that?!
Air - *freaks out* What?  What is it?
