What is Practice Fighting for?
« on: April 05, 2016, 04:07:32 AM »
Hi, my sim family have an interaction 'Practice Fighting' because they are level 10 at Fitness. But when my female was working for the detective, she used to be beaten from other sims although she completed bodybuilder aspiration. So I changed the way of thinking about the athletic skill in Sims 4. It seems very different to the Sims 3 athletic skill. She practiced fighting many times with her husband, but she never won at the fighting. I'm really curious what this interaction is for. I searched here all over but couldn't find any answer I want. :)

By the way, eventually, I completed 'decorative egg hunt challenge' and 'perfect growfruit challenge'. But there was only 'rude introduction' and 'flirty introduction' towards Jasmine Holiday. I was looking for Friendly or Cheerful introduction for her. When my oldest boy brought one perfect growfruit to her, I found one more introduction. "Enchanted Introduction!" I was happy to find the new one, and tried that. I should have looked up the English dictionary to find its meaning first but I just tried it to Jasmine Holiday. Suddenly, my oldest boy started to sing romantic and she became his Romantic Interest... He has 8 skill point at charisma. I didn't want that. Maybe, I need to change the language to Korean again or learn more English words.

When I came back from BFF's community garden place, I tried to contact her but there was no interaction at all. Maybe..will she be vanished or will she just be left as a normal NPC sim when this Spring challenge is over?

Practice Fighting is just a social that allows sims to 'play fight'. It looks looks like mean fighting but is actually fun. The sim with the highest fitness skill is supposed to win the most but sometimes that doesn't happen. Because this unlocks at level 9, before the fitness skill is maxed, sims gain fitness skill when they use the 'Practice Fighting' interaction.

Enchanting introduction is unlocked with a high charisma skill level (level 8  ) and starts a romantic relationship straight away. Usually it takes a sim about 2 to 3 flirty interactions before the romance bar shows.

As for Jasmine, well my guess is she will just vanish. Won't know for sure until the challenge ends.  :)

Yeah I expected to win at fighting with high fitness skill but it doesn't seem to work that way in Sims 4. A bit disappointed in the practice fighting. I always have my sims level up althletic skill for protect themselves from other evil and meanspirited sims in sims 3. Hoped it worked like this in sims 4. Is there any good way to protect my sim family from other evil sims in Sims 4?

Yeah I want EA takes her back after this event. :) Thanks for good tips about enchanted introduction. I think it's unlocked at charisma level 8. I had to let him practice charisma skill for Secret Agent work.

I found the good way to revenge when other evil sims attack or yell at my family. I had my Nicholas scientist made 5 sim rays and upgraded them all up to mind control. I gave the sim rays to other family members. They can protect themselves via using sim ray to other sims who insults my family. haha.. I tested it onto an Alien in Sixam and it was great! :D

Lol... that's funny! I used to do that to... my sims would leave a trail of frozen townies behind them.
