Is this milestone,"Have a child complete an aspiration" still glitched?

I searched this on google and found it's actually fixed by recent patch but I got this issue today. My Origin and The Sims 4, and Sims 3 are all up to date.

My child completed the Whiz Kid aspiration finally.

So she can do 2 special interactions from completing 2 aspirations.

But it's still going on.

Should I use the current milestone complete cheat?

I would, it seems that you have done everything needed so I would use the cheat.

I feel like something is going wrong in my game now. My child sim completed 2 aspirations but that milestone is not completed for her parents. Instead, no one reached to the top of a career with their sons at the moment but 'have a child or grandchild reach the top of a career' milestone is completed. Very confusing now..

This is the oldest brother's career and he is just level 8. He has the highest level at career among those 3 brothers.

The old brother's career is scientist and he is just level 3. He joined the scientist yesterday.

This is youngest brother's career and  he is still a teen.

The parents' milestones are all completed except for the child one only.

Which one triggered to the parents one?  Maybe the teen's part time job?

Yes teen jobs/careers do count in this aspiration. To be honest, I've never had much luck with this particular aspiration. I'd even go as far as saying I really dislike it! Nothing ever seems to complete correctly for me! @MarianT  have you had better experiences with this aspiration?

Unbelievable! LOL.. Then it's very easy, isn't it? It was the first time I've been going through this aspiration, so I really had no experience with this. Ok now then, I can really use the cheat and complete the rest one for my sims. Thank you!

Oh, old saves yes, but on new sims and new saves its fixed.  I think it has to do with if you choose the aspiration in create a sim mode or if you aged up and created it when you got older.  The Aspiration apparently works for sims already in game that have been given that aspiration.

No it's not an old saves. I created a female sim this March. I started a new game with her, found a nice guy in Fitness centre, then she got married with him, then they made 4 babies. So It's not an old save.   Not sure I understand your point correctly.
