@grimsoul  I really appreciate your comparing the harvests with the different pots.
I hadn't realized how lame the names were until you lined them all up in one sentence.  Thanks, lol  ;)

I just went in and done a quick test. I planted 4 lemon trees. One in the ground, one in a normal pot, one in the growfruit challenge pot, and one in the perfect growfruit challenge pot and then just watered them, no fertilizer then put the game on speed 3. Then kept checking them for being ready to harvest.
My results: All 4 grew up at the same time, all 4 evolved at the same time and all 4 bore fruit at the same time. The difference was in the harvest. The plant in the ground had 1 lemon, the plant in the normal pot and the challenge pot had 2 lemons and the plant in the perfect challenge pot had 3 lemons. So you will be ready for a full harvest a little sooner with the perfect pot.

This is true of all the planters. I tested them all with all of the plants and the planters make time between harvests shorter. I thought I'd posted this somewhere... but maybe not. So using planters is a benefit if you are trying to make money from gardening as you will get more harvests per week than if you just plant straight into the ground.  :)

Huh, maybe my game just likes the "new" planters more then lol I could shave about an hour and a half off of the standard planter time to harvest...

@Magpie2012 no, that sounds correct from @grimsoul's testing. He said that the new challenge planters speed up the harvest time more than the original planters. The time difference will probably vary from harvest to harvest, at least that's what I found when I tested the original planters... but as an average, planters do speed up the time between harvests.  :)

In the Deep Woods in Granite Falls, if you go through the secret entrance that leads to the Hermit's house, you can find an Easter Egg there, my Sim did, lol. XD

I found an Easter Egg by washing dishes at a neighbors house, by visiting some of the community lots like the bluffs and by paying bills by phone.

Finding it quite interesting to see where all these eggs are turning up, now have enough for 6 full sets and growing.

Lol oh ok, I misunderstood :-D thanks :-D and having read the Cooking Challenge thread I am so thankful that I used a different save to test these pots out lol I have to admit though, I like the first new pot more. The green just looks so much better than the "bling" one...

@XxMousiexX the challenge is on for a month so there is plenty of time left still. :) At first I thought it was just March as well, but the wording is "for the next month" so I am assuming that will be mid April when we will probably get another patch that will remove the challenge and fix some game bugs etc.

Not sure if it's been mentioned before, but for those that want the planter but don't want to start growing the fruit from scratch.. if you own Outdoor retreat, you can go to the kiosk and buy 20 growfruit and then give them to Jasmine and you immediately unlock the first planter. :)

Hi guys, I saw a guide on sims VIP page about the spring challenge event. It says first, I need to meet a npc, Jasmine Holiday? but I can't see her anywhere on community lot. I visited many places in Willow Creek and Oasis. So I started to collect the eggs myself, and gathered 7 eggs for now. I saw many growfruit trees in park, so I cut the branch and grafted to my perfect pomegranate tree and got 5 growfruits so far.

Should I certainly meet her to complete the challenge? I really don't know where to find her.   :-[

Very hard to be escaped from Sims.

You'll find her in any of the community gardens. There is one near Johnny Zest's house in Oasis Springs. Just go view a plant and cloudgaze and she will come along. She's dressed in cerise, you can't miss her!

It should be in the kids toys. If you done the egg challenge they had last year you won't get a different bunny. It'll be the same bunny but it will have more color options for it after completing this years challenge.
