Oooh, I agree that the memorial area is fabulous and it's just so perfect that Lana and Ru visit while dressed in white.

Sorry for the long comment, but there's so much to love!
Great touch with the Pollinators worrying about human sims not wanting to keep their alien babies.
Tell them to target dynasties in their first or second generation, lol. By the 5th or 6th generation, there's just no room!
Lol, I love how Kessy acts as their consultant! A woman of many talents!

@Ricalynn I'm actually glad they died on the same day, saves me some Moodlet Solvers. I did have fun with this pose, but the second shot was meant to be another pose that got messed up so I let them just stand by the grave, lol.

@Shewolf13 I probably won't use poses again for a while, unless I find one that fits the story. Then I'll have to test it out at least a dozen times...

@oshizu It's odd that no one has been abducted, especially Kessy so I had to think of some reason why. And I wanted to use that title for such a long time. I always use photographs, portraits aren't so great and yes that is Shannon =D They're wearing white because we wear white to funerals.

20: All Grown Up

The house was still in mourning that they missed a special birthday. Lei aged up alone but she was too excited to mind.





“Hi! What’re doing?”


“Who are you?”


“It’s me Leilani, I growed up!”


“Aw, you’re too cute to be my baby sis,”


“Mitch is making popcorn so we can have another movie marathon.”





“Daddy!” Lei threw herself at Mitch.


“My little lady’s all grown up,”


“Where’s mummy?”


“She’ll be here in a while,”





“Now, let’s get that homework out of the way, OK?”


“Aw, but I wanna watch the movie,”


“All in good time, baby,”





“And then the Empress delivered a might Hurricane Punch that sent Elizoid to outer space!”


“Wow, when can I learn to do that?”


Kessy looked around to make sure no one else was listening in. “When you’re older, sweetie,”


“What is a Hurricane Punch, anyway?”


“Well, only a special handful of Sims know this: the Hurricane Punch is a Shout consisting of three words – Fus Ro Dah. It’s powerful enough to blast your enemies into space. Or goats off mountains,”


“Ooh!”


“Just don’t tell anyone else, especially not daddy,”





Too soon it was Lana and Ru’s teenage birthday. Lei was roped into a game of Don’t Wake The Llama cards.





Afterwards she posed for Lana’s museum, looking so sweet and innocent.





She tried to explain to J that he was her great grandfather and he smiled through his teeth while Uncle Don was kind enough to go along with it.





“Daddy, if Max is mum’s enemy, why is he here?”


“That’s something I’d like to know as well,”


“He’s kind of cute!”


“Oh dear, no, he’s really not!”





Lei, being such a sweetheart, went around picking up dirty dishes as her big sister blew out her candles.


“Fooo!”





“Um, excuse me, Hugo! I’m trying to celebrate here!”


“S-sorry,”





“Woo, go Ru!”


Ru inwardly made a wish: Please don’t let me look like my DBBD!





“Paolo, would now be a good time to tell you I’m pregnant?” Morgan asked.


“Hey, this is my moment, what is it with these guests?”


“At least you look like your mother,” Mitch said.





Another gold medal was achieved but it didn’t really matter as Kessy had completed that aspiration long ago. Lana was taken aside after her makeover so she could finally find out why she had to spend her life maxing skills, completing aspirations, getting to the top of her career and starting a family – when you’re way, way, way older, Kessy insisted.


“Hey, sis, you know I love you, right?”


“Uh huh, you’ve said five times already,”


“Well, I’ll say it five more times, five hundred times!”


“Grown ups are weird, why does everyone love me all of a sudden?”


“’Cause you’re too cute for words, baby sis,”

Happy birthday to Lei, Lana, and Ru!
Everyone aged up and looks fabulous, which is no surprise considering who the Watcher is!
But still a great delight to witness!

The sisters are great together. Sooooo, Lei likes the bad boys, eh?
*breathes a sigh of relief that Ru doesn't resemble his pops

Heavenly Flower, isn't that was Leilani means?  Anyway, she is a sweety.  Great birthday and how lovely they all turned out!  Wonder why she was so interested in the Hurricane Punch?  Do I detect a bit more Kessy in her than meets the eye, well hidden by the cuteness factor?

Aww just a cute little girl.  Lei looks different than Lana though or is that just me?  And her face when she was stuck playing the Llama game with all the old men.

Ru and Lana aged up beautifully and he does look more like his mother ( I can't decide if I should thank watcher or not).

So sad for the two that were reaped.  They might have been a couple of my favorite spares ever!  Poor Ru!  Leilani aged into one of the cutest kids ever!  Lana looks so much like Mitch!

@oshizu I'm pleased Ru doesn't have the DBBD's long horse face, lol.  I think you meant Lana, not Lei, hee hee. That caterer was the worst, there was plenty of counter space but she put all the plates of food on the floor.

@Joria Yes, that's the meaning behind the name. isn't it pretty? As for why she wanted to know... 

@Ricalynn Lei has Kessy's green eyes and brown hair, everything else is Mitch which becomes clear when she's older. Lana has been fortunate to get looks from both parents. I'm so used to seeing them I can't tell much difference between them, lol. I got lucky, in a test file with Joaquin as a pollinator most of the kids ended up looking like him with very few features from their mums.

@wfgodot They were awesome, I feel bad for not featuring Venkat much because all he did was fish and take care of the garden when Ash was at work =/ Lei is super cute. From the front, Lana does have a resemblance to Kessy, it's when you see her from the side that you can tell she has Mitch's face shape.

@Shewolf13 Yeah, I'm regretting having another kid knowing she won't be immortal  This party was when I encountered the timer bug, I was panicking and trying to make sure to get the screenshots >.<

21: Little Lady, Big Trouble

Lei had a head start at school from all the tutoring her parents had provided for her. Sometimes she felt the other kids at school were just plain dumb. She wasn’t snooty but it was certainly satisfying to get top marks at everything, so when Greg Villareal (one of Paolo’s kids) asked if she wanted to ditch school Lei said yes without hesitation.





They wanted to play at the park but there were too many adults around and had to settle for the ancient ruins of Windenburg.





Unfortunately for them, they were seen by one of Kessy’s Technician friends.





“Did you know your sister’s going to be an immortal?”


“I know, I heard when they didn’t know I was listening. I can’t wait to be immortal too!”





“It doesn’t work like that, you can’t be the Air,”


“It’s heir and yes I can,”


“No way, there can only be one and that’s your sister, she’s the oldest, that’s what my uncle said,”


“Grr, your uncle can go #$%&* or I’ll ~@<^£ him until he begs for mercy!”


“I’m telling on you!”





They went their separate ways and Lei explored the ruins by herself until it was time to go home. She didn’t manage to catch the school bus and was later than usual.





“You’re late, sweetie.” Kessy caught her before she could sneak away to her room.


“Um, I had toooo – um – practise for theee – um – violin, I’m taking violin lessons,”





“Oh, really? Because I got a call from your teacher this morning and he said there was no sign of you or Greg Villareal at school today. Coincidence, was it?”


“No,”


“I thought not, Technician 17 saw you at the ruins,”


“You sent a spy after me?”


“No, she just happened to see you!”





“Listen, sweetie, school is important. It’s where you make friends, complain about the lunch and work on exciting projects. Am I boring you?”


“Yes, school is for dummies,”





“That might be true but it’s no excuse to skip school to hang out with a Villareal of all people!”





“Well, it’s not like I have to complete aspirations or something. Not like I’m going to get to live forever so what is the point, mum? It’s not fair! I want to be special, I want to stay with you!”


Oh dear, how did she find out?





“Oh, Lei, I was going to tell you when you were older, you’d understand then,”


“I understand now, I’m not stupid,”


“No, that’s pretty obvious. Look, you’ll always be special to us and when all this is over you get to do whatever you want, maybe even start your own legacy. And you get to come back as a ghost, isn’t that... cool?”


Leilani laughed, “Can I haunt Greg’s house?”


“Absolutely!”





“My sweet baby, I’m sorry you had to find out so soon but I’m glad it’s out in the open now.”





“Have my girls made up?”


“Yes, daddy. Why does mum always get the difficult jobs?”


“That’s because I could never be mad you, love, your mum’s used to being mean,”


“Hey, I’m standing right here!”





“Rawr, it’s the Attack of the Claw!”


“Stooop, that tickles!”





“Everything OK, Lei?”


“Yeah, you don’t mind being a spare, do you?”


“Nope, we have no restrictions – that means we can sleep all day and party all night, it’s fun to be a spare,”


“You stole that from a movie,”


“And how do you know that?”


“Hee hee, not telling.”





“I wonder if I’ll get to be a vampire,”

--sniffle-- Oh being a spare... it is both liberating and terribly sad.  I can't bring myself to have more than one kid in a gen just because i'll be a blubbering idiot when it comes time to say goodbye.  It's bad enough with the spouses and helpers.
