I've been livestreaming some of my room builds, which are always hexagonal (I dunno, this was something I started doing in TS3 and never stopped) and took inspiration from those to build the new house.
I flew over to Twitch only to realize I couldn't stalk follow you there so I made an account. Do you have a regular time for livestreaming? Am I sounding too enthusiastic?

Like everyone else, I am amazed by the colors, shapes, and patterns of your build.  Even a single rug, I realize, can completely transform a room.
While looking at the rooms,  I'd completely forgotte that your lot is in Oasis Springs and got lulled into the notion that you were on one of the new, larger 64x64 lots, simply because there's so much going on on your premises--but no!
You'd once mentioned that you like small builds and I can see how that preference plays out in your compact but carefully decorated rooms.

I also vote to keep the sauna. (Did you have massage tables?) Your "party central" area seems fully equipped and adding a bar to another part of the house might lead to partygoers wandering of? My household sims tend to wander off to engage in non-party activities so I showed the lockable doors a lot of love before and after each party.

Whiting out the spoiler aspects of your present build only makes me more curious!
Thank you for sharing!

@Playalot I noticed the resemblance to the Globe Theatre only when I was taking that screenshot, I'm used to viewing the house from the middle (where everyone usually gathers). I tried to keep the CC down as much as possible, it's just some rugs, beds, walls and a lot of clutter and it goes so well with the games original look.

@Shewolf13 Stunned you into silence? I'm smiling from ear to ear =D

@oshizu I have not streamed for a while, it was only 4 builds so far and an impulsive decision as I ran out of ideas on what to build lol. If you have ideas I can of course make plans and get a scheduled stream ready. Oasis Springs is my favourite place, when you switch the game lighting to evening mode it looks beautiful and there is the added bonus of not having other Sims walking around your lot. Except for the front but I hardly ever view the house from there so it doesn't matter ^^ I do love small builds, I tend to play single Sims when it's not a challenge. I did want a 64x64 lot just so I could squeeze and extra room on each side but it's all good for now.

There is a massage table on the other side of the hot tub (you can see it from the birds eye view). If you read my questions in the IDC post you will get a small spoiler about gen 2  ;)

I think I will keep the sauna then, thank you so much for the comments and I appreciate your input.

I love how eclectic your lot is! A bit of this, a bit of that, but it all works together wonderfully.

Wait! You're on Twitch? I spend a bit of time there myself as a mod. I'll see if I can find you!

Edited to say I found you and followed!

*is blown away by house building skills*

Ok, so a few thoughts:

OMG Kessy is a totally hottie in her dress (not that she isn't normally but just wow!)

Ash and Ven and Mitch are so cool, I'm going to hate to see their eventual demise

Joaquin is a douche-bag!

*laughs at the thought of a nude proposal*

Love the wedding selfie, but my first thought when I saw it was something along the lines of "Mitch? I don't think your arm/shoulder is meant to bend that way?!?* lol

And finally (and rather pedantic) aren't they octagons? I count 8 sides not 6? But, whatever they are, they kitted themselves out into one fabuloso Dynasty House!

@reggikko It is a bit of a hotchpotch house, I can't seem to decide what style I like so went with modern and traditional where I could =)

@JudesSims Thank you for following me, I find Twitch to be confusing as a Mod and streamer, so easy being the viewer lol.

@Magpie2012 You're absolutely right. Shapes are confusing, I spent a good deal helping my nephew with his homework and then was stumped when I couldn't figure out what the difference between a 'prism' and 'pyramid' was xD Gosh, Mitch is the toughest death to watch, I certainly felt like wiping the floor with Grim...  I also thought his arm looked really weird so I had a look at some other selfies and it seems to either be a glitch or the CC clothes.

Wow,  I don't know how I missed this update... wow, twice in a row.  I'm really good at this.  But what an amazing house :D  I love your design skills.  I can only imagine what your real house probably looks like.  All the colors and retro kind of thing.  It makes me want to tear mine down and try again XD  You really have a ton of space still on your upper floor.  Which amazes me because in my house I already know I'm going to end up with a couple sims sharing bedrooms.  Love the little pond by the woohoo bush.  And all your neat carpets.  My daughter (who is 4) pretty much lost it over the Lumpy Space Princess rug.

@mpart Thank you, you can actually think of it as octagonal rooms put together to make a house  ;)

@wfgodot If only my real home was like this, it's messy all the time and there are books everywhere xD The top floor is the museum, I don't believe I need to add anything else at the moment. Future packs may change my mind and I'd have to either move the museum to the basement or new rooms instead. My Sims currently don't sleep or don't get to bed at the same time so I've managed with three/four bedrooms. I love Adventure Time, had to stick that rug in there, isn't it cute? I bet I was more excited than your daughter, not that it's a competition, hee hee.

I absolutely adore this build.  Especially your garden which of course all our English gardens are like!  I feel ashamed that Rose hasn't built a lovely English garden.  She's gone more for the downtown Bronx yard effect!!

Mitch is the toughest death to watch, I certainly felt like wiping the floor with Grim...

 :o  :-\  :'(  Mitch dead?  Already?  <sobs>

I am in awe by your building and design skills. My dynasty houses just seem to evolve as we get money from a central area with random rooms added on as needed. Moving my dynasty family and looking at what we had was a great way for me to de clutter. I had 24 dinning chairs!

I just realised the symmetry between octagonal rooms and an IDC, 8 walls, 8 sims... No wonder your house seems the perfect fit ;-D

@tjtemple Maybe Rose can have a small English garden to one side? =D Ah, yes, poor Mitch passed away quite a while ago in my gameplay.

@ratchie 24? It must be a relief to de-clutter, I'd have to do it at some point in the future I imagine.

@Magpie2012 When I planned the build it's exactly what i thought of, so the house pretty much evolved from the museum lol.

Thank you all for the lovely comments, when I built the lot I just wanted to be able to have everything on one floor and didn't imagine it would turn out so well <3
