4: Buff Bluffs

A sweet Saturday afternoon. Bees were humming away happily, the murky waters of the natural pool rippled as dragonflies flitted past. Kessy and Mitch were snuggling together, though the heat of the day had made them somewhat lazy after swimming a few laps in the pool.





“Have I told you how much I love you?”


“Hmm, more than I can count but please, don’t ever stop.”


The silent Watcher spluttered out her tea in disgust. Corny lines are corny.





Shush you, I’m trying to be romantic here.


Kessy closed her eyes and she drew near Mitchell...





The kiss didn’t land where she’d hoped. Her lips left a bright pink smudge at the end of his nose.





Mitch rubbed it away. “How about a re-take?”





This time their lips met and Kessy just about melted away.





They took selfies to commemorate the moment.





And Kessy went in for another kiss.





“Care to join me in the bushes, Mr Kalani?”


“After you, Miss Chant,”


The Watcher cringed and turned away from her screen.

@oshizu The weather here has been crazy, we have sunshine for about 2 hours then rain and stormy winds for the rest of the day. The cycle is repeated the next day x.x As we can't give Sims tattoos (unless they're an alien in human disguise) I figured Kessy should have some extras. I wanted to give him the Hawaiian t-shirt again but can't find the creator so I gave up. After learning how to recolour I was going to make my own but I got lazy and took a long break between Mitch moving in and changing appearance but I think you'll like his new look.

@tjtemple Actually my graphics card isn't that good. I edit the screenshots in Photoshop and sharpen at the end to get it this good xD

@Shewolf13 They're kids are always cute so I want his genes to pass on to future gens.

5: We Are The Kids

Although Kessy had turned down Morgan’s offer to join the Renegades, she was having second thoughts. There was something she wanted to do that required help from fellow mischief makers.


“Morgan, it’s Kes. Yes, that very same person. Look, I’ve changed my mind, I’ll join your – I mean, Max’s club. Er... that was quick. OK, see you there.”





The Renegades were gathering at Bathe de Rill. Kessy was in for a shock when she stepped out of the taxi.


“What the—!”


“Something wrong?”





“You’re practically naked! That’s what’s wrong.”


Morgan laughed. “Don’t be silly, we’re at the pool, what else are we supposed to wear?”


Looks like little Max is a bit of a perv.





“Eh. I’m gonna go. There’s always Plan B.”





“Hold it right there, princess.”


Kessy gritted her teeth. I’m so going to thrash you when you’re older, kid.


“I don’t like it when people waste my time. I had to drag myself out of bed on a Sunday morning for this, you’re going to tell me exactly what’s going on.”





“Well, I was hoping to cause some mischief around town. One house in particular. Kind of need some peeps to distract the owners.”


“A simple job, right? Hmm. I’ll admit sabotaging the facilities here has been pretty boring. You have a deal, princess. My minions call me Boss, but you can call me Max.” Here he winked at her.


“Sure thing, Max <3” (I hope no one else heard that.)

“Boss, why are you letting her tell us what to do?”


“It’s only this one time, Ulrike. Move it people.”





As the Renegades bombarded Eliza and Bob with endless questions and let themselves into the bedrooms to jump on the beds (with their shoes on, no less), Kessy climbed in through an open window.





She’d just managed to unbolt the last screw of the bathroom sink when Bob walked in on her.


“What do you think you’re doing?”


“Revenge. Shouldn’t have married Eliza, Bobby, she’s bringing you down, man.”


“Out!”


“I’m done anyway. Bwahahaha.”





Next up they hit the South Square Coffee Shop, home to the Avant Gardes.


“Take that, you hipsters.”





“All done, Max <3 Thanks for the help.”


“Hey, wanna be second in command? You get a cool badge and everything.”


“Nah, I’m good. Time to hand in my ‘resignation’, little man.”





“You used me?”


“Hey, I told you right from the start this was business.”


“You’d break a little kid’s heart?”


Oh, boy.





“Nothing personal, Max, but you’re young enough to be my kid. And I’m married.”


He scoffed and pointed to her ring finger.


“OK, I did not want to end things this way but someone has to tell you sooner rather than later. You’re a bit of a brat, kind of insane these so-called adults let you boss them around and the worst thing ever is the evil trait. I absolutely, 100% despise that trait. To put it frankly, you’re a badder than bad version of Malcolm Landgraab.”





“You done, old hag? Good. Get out of my face.”


“You’re not going to cry are you? There’s nothing worse than a crybaby.”


“Go. Away.”


So she got out of there before he started blubbering.

Venkat and Shan created exclusive clubs for them and their kids as a way of socialising and teaching them valuable skills like gardening and fishing.


It was late Sunday evening so most of the kids couldn’t make it due to their mothers forbidding them to have anything to do with their fathers.


Carter Lee and Easton Fyres became instant friends after their love of caps and the colour yellow was obvious.





Ali Faust enjoyed fishing as much as her father Shan. Every time she caught one she’d smile with delight and waggle the fish at him.


“Nice one, sweetie. Much better than Uncle Ven, eh?”





It lifted Shan’s spirits to see his kids so happy. Maybe he hadn’t done right by their mothers, but he was going to make sure every one of them knew they were loved.

I love how Kessy handles Max (and how he talks to her, and how she responds...etc).  I keep seeing the renegades in people's stories.  I didn't understand until now that... Max is the leader?  hehe.  A kid?  How's that happen!  Anyway, I love how she got him to help her out, and love how she targeted the Pancakes.  And once again I'm struck by how pretty Kessy is.

Your screenshots really do look nice.  It must take you a long time to edit them in PS.  But it's worth it.

Malcolm can be a real snot, but that Max is just a bratty wannabe who needs a good butt whupping.  Kessy sure turned the tables on him.  Hmmm, maybe he just needs a better set of parents.  Nope.  He's a brat.

I have to admit, having three great storytellers all start new stories at the same time has been a little confusing for me, since all the townies are at the same age in all three stories.
I need a more robust brain, I think.

Haha, Kessy taking advantage of the little Max...gotta give the little guy props for attitude!
Now Malcolm is another story--I have a lot of feels for that guy, though I've never played him.  It's funny how other simmers' stories affect how we personally feel about this pixelated creatures.

Another lovely chapter--of course, Kessy clogs Eliza's drain.  (Thanks for explaining the backstory!)

@wfgodot I had Kessy play through clubs when Get Together was released, imagine my surprise when I found out the kid was the leader xD I knew then I had to involve the Renegades with my mischief maker. It used to take a while to edit everything but now it's just become part of a routine.

@Shewolf13 I hope I wasn't being to mean to the poor kid

@Joria He's like the adorable but even meaner version of Malcolm and kessy knows how to handles those kinds!

6: Spoopy

Ulrike disappointed Kessy with her Pizza Girl costume so she was set to carving a pumpkin like a good minion. “Something spooky next time, OK?”


“As you wish,”





After the success of a gold date the living room was hastily turned into a haunting dance floor.


“A sweetie for my sweetie,”





“You’re looking mighty fine, Darth Kalani,”





Shan complained to no one in particular about not being featured more often. Venkat changed into the Sexy Centurion in the hopes of pulling some ladies.





“Thanks for all the cookies, Hugo, you can relax now,”


“Nah, got a zombie cake to bake still,”


“Awesome.”


“You know, my brother’s still mad at you.”


Kessy smiled and moved away before the kid’s face popped into her head.





“You are such a wimp, old man.”






The party requirements were done before half time. Hugo still went on cooking until Kessy assured him it was totally OK to go dance or something that didn’t cause her to kick him out.





Before Mitch called it a night Kessy invited him to move in and shoved him into the bedroom for a makeover.





“Wow, had no idea yoga was so... sexy.”


“Mitch, stop distracting me!”


“I’d say the same to you too, hun.”
