If you have a +1 Flirty mood from watching romance on TV, you can overpower it with +2 Logic. So, you could have them Browse Simpedia AND view the Mathematical diagram and they would become focused. If you need +3 Focused to overcome another mood, have them do the previous two actions, then Ponder Moves on the chess table. As Playalot said, none of those things takes very much time.

If you have Spa Day, you can have them take a bath with the citrus soak or do the Mind Concentrating yoga routine, which also raises fun.

Ohh..Mind Concentrating! That's the new thing I learned. Yeah I have Spa day. :) I tried the bath with citrus but it takes 8 hrs strong emotion. haha.. They go sleep in Focused mood, they have to be energized for exercise but do it in focused mood. hehe.. Sorry to say this but I don't like emotional system in the Sims 4. :( Too hard to make all different emotions for every single sim. I like to see their free will lives since the sims 3. sigh..

When my child/teen reaches A level grade, my routine is to have them do their homework each day with the help of an adult which speeds up the process and gives them the correct emotion - Focused.  Now, to combat the Fun issue, when they go to school, change the activity at school from normal to having fun all day.  As long as they do their homework each day, it's enough to keep their grade up without them really doing any work at school.  They come home with a full fun bar which leaves time for other things.
What about the additional homework? Do your sims do that as well or only the basic homework they do? If I don't have to do the additional one, then I will be very happy. :D

Once you get your sim to an A, you don't have to do the extra credit homework. You don't have to do extra credit beforehand either, all it does is speed up the process of getting to an A. And as I said earlier, once you get your sim to an A, you can get away with skipping homework every once in a while. In fact, if your teen has vacation time accumulated and you don't plan to send the family to Granite Falls, you can have your teen take 3 or 4 vacation days, which might be enough to get him to YA.

I've only ever had a child/teen to extra credit if they have the whim.  So definitely not necessary.  Also, having an adult help with homework boosts the relationship between them.  There's a lot of synergies with multitasking that has added benefits to other areas.

Thank you. That's what I wanted to do. :D

Ok I will try to stop them do homework themselves and ask them do other things on Monday. :)
