MAC - Transferring mods and cc to a new computer!!

Okay so i read that you could just move everything to a flash drive and move it over, which worked for me, but i went from a pc to a mac and none of my cc showed up in the game. I made sure i had mods enabled in my game so I'm not really sure what the problem is. I downloaded cc on my mac and installed it and it showed as a page icon but the cc i moved from my old computer shows a black box with "exec" in neon green as the icon so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it. Any help is appreciated!

I don't really know the true answer to this, since I don't have or use Mac, but, is it not possibly that the files need to be Mac-specific?

You can't. If there is any, install the mac version of the mods.
