Sims 3 Not Responding - .package files

I have a bunch of sims cc installed! Whenever I try to open sims or a sims3pack, it does not respond?! I have .package files installed as well, and when i remove them, the game works fine. I have tried to see if any of the files were corrupted but even having just one .package file in my game makes it not respond. I don't know what to do and I really want to be able to play with my .package files, Please help.

If the tip above doesn't help, it may be worth looking into making sure the .packages are installed correctly.
