Phew! Thankfully I didn't use them :-D I used another file to get that challenge done asap :-D I think I might have cried if I had used them though, because I'm not going to have the time to dedicate to this that I had over this long weekend! Hopefully I'll be able to get the clubs done before deadline...

No, same here. Very upsetting especially the ones that take a huge amount of collecting.

I think outdoor retreat is a massive handicap in this challenge.

Please note: We are banning these because it is only available during spring event.  For a player starting this challenge after spring event, he/she will not have access to these items, will be at a huge disadvantage.  If you do find more spring event items that may benefit this challenge, please do not use it and PM the team, we will come to a decision quick.

I think outdoor retreat is a massive handicap in this challenge.

I agree, considering that if you don't have outdoor retreat then you would have a lot more time to improve the quality and price of the other main meals and gourmet meals.  Walleye's Surprise was the most time consuming, you have to get to level 5 Herbalism skill in order to identify the huckleberry.  However, that being said I did enjoy the challenge!  And making these more difficult dishes.

And it worked well I can't wait to talk strategy (only have like what? 5.5 more weeks of waiting lol)

Edit: Whoo! I just noticed I'm top of the score board lol although that's going to last all of 2 seconds once the more experienced challengers start posting their scores!

At least I didn't have to do the party meals as I've not installed that expansion pack   

My sim aged up to elder and my total is 7,501.  I'm happy enough with that and it was a fun challenge to do and the first one I think I've successfully completed

My poor guy got the horrible itch from harvesting and a bee sting within the same hour!  Needless to say he suffered for this challenge, not to mention the weight he gained and I won't mention why as it might be giving away clues??  But I think you all can figure it out    Plus he didn't really have time to work out giving all those pesky outdoor retreat meals he had to make. 

He's now joined Jenny Craig and has managed to find a love life in his old age

Speaking of Outdoor Retreat, do the meals you can grill on the campfire and BBQ count towards the recipes you have to do?

The grill recipes count, but cooking insects etc. on the campfire do not.  The full list of what is needed is in LenaLJ's spreadsheet which is linked to on the challenge instructions.
