Fire Meter full in PS3

Hi, the fire meter of my house is full (all Red), so I can't make any changes to put any more things.

How can I make it go down to green?

Delete some stuff, probably. The fire meter sound like a complexity meter. I don't have the PS3 game, but this is my guess.

They had the Fire Meter in Sims 2 on Xbox and it was basically a cap on how much items/furniture you can put in your house, the only way to make it go down is delete items of furniture etc. I guess it is also to help with performance and keep the game running smoothly.
