Romantic Garden
« on: March 02, 2016, 08:54:36 PM »
Thanks to @Flynn Arrowstarr  and @MrsFlynn  we now have a page up on Romantic Garden Stuff. They covered it in great detail, which I'm sure you'll appreciate since the wishing well can literally kill your Sims with certain wishes and a little bad luck. This is a little late, but that's my bad given how busy I am lately but I'm really grateful for their contribution to the site! Have a look :)

They helped me catch up on Stuff Packs, which I fell behind on since family emergencies last fall, so I'm really glad they just suddenly offered to help by dropping these in my inbox!

I just bought Romantic Garden last night but haven't played it yet. The new guide with its complete list of all the wishing well outcomes is so useful.
Thanks so much to all three of you!

You're welcome!! :)  It was funny to see what the outcomes were with the wishing well. When the well first spat out black smoke I thought uh-oh that can't be good!!

I think you did a great job.  With the pace EA/Maxis does release the Stuff Packs, I think others will appreciate having the information up as well, letting them know whether it might be something they would like or not.

Bought as soon as it came out. Not disappointed. But after reading the guide, I realized that I missed some game play action. Thank you MrsFlynn  and Flynn Arrowstar. Fantastic.

I'm not personally big on stuff packs, but feel a need to get them now as they seem to have shifted premium content from the Sims 3 store into these. Objects that add to gameplay are now a part of stuff packs, and seem to make them a little better value. Definitely better than buying from the store, though you could get things piecemeal. Not all of them are as great as this one, but it's still good to know we won't only get objects that change things up a bit from the more pricey addons.

Great guide. I love the way you have laid out all the wishing well's outcomes. Makes so much more sense now I can see them all laid out in that order!

The info on the Wishing Well's appearance and the possible outcomes is really useful. Thanks for providing this!

One thing to change: the information on a Wish for Happiness under the negative outcomes is the same as the info on the Wish for Romance.

Thanks, MarianT, for pointing that out. We double-checked it and it should read:

Where Is My Happiness? (Angry +2) for 4 hours.
The well is a fickle thing and plays favorites. Your Sim isn’t one of the favorites at the moment.

The error was in the file we submitted to Carl, so it wasn't a transcription mistake. I've submitted a correction to Carl and it should be fixed in the near future. :)

Glad you caught it! I was so wrapped up in making the table I wouldn't have noticed a duplicate cell :) Thanks for the correction, it's been fixed on the guide.

Overwhelmingly Negative outcome:
