How to speed up gardening?
« on: March 01, 2016, 03:35:10 PM »
I have Nraas' relativity installed, and tending my garden STILL takes all day!

Granted, I'm using a 64x64 lot, and so far, 25x50 tiles are being taken up with crops.

But even still, this is just ridiculous!

Would Bonehilda be able to do the gardening for me if I bought one? Are there services I can call? Help me, please!

You can get more sims tending to the garden; plumbots make great assistants due to their lack of a hygiene need. You can also plant some sprinklers near the plants to keep them watered or, if your Sims constantly play in them, use a gardening station (requires a store purchase).

Hope these help a bit.

Thank you for the tips Junan!! I was going to suggest getting more Sims. At least that's the way I've been doing it along with auto water sprinklers.

But I didn't think to use plumbots or garden station.

I also put a fence around my garden area with a locked gate to keep visitors out of playing in the sprinklers.
Welcome!! We hope you enjoy the forum!!  Thank you for visiting!!

My sim's an inventor, so she created a gadget called the collector that speeds up plant collecting, plus she also upgraded the sprinklers to autowater so you don't have to remember to turn them on. Other than that, I'm sure there are other things but I only know of those.  :) Hope this helps. (By the way, the collector invention will give them a bad moodlet the first time they use it but after that they should be fine)
