Help I am getting run over by looping repair people! BUGGED game.

For some reason I got five repair people standing at my door taking turns knocking. They have no social to invite them in. They fix nothing. Their is no good bye social. If I get them inside say for a massage they head right back out to chain knock again. They do not leave even after reset. One has died in this loop. Help me save these obsessive knockers, that are in a loop that leads to death.

P.S.  Those that die are replaced with fresh knocking freaks dressed like repair people. It is a chain that loops endlessly. At least that is what happened to the one who died and now haunts my place from time to time raiding my fridge.

But I must confess that I giggled a little to read that you squeezed a massage out of one your NPC repair people.

To be serious now, other people have been experiencing your problem with maids as well as repairpeople.

One simmer added the NPCs to the household then deleted them in CAS. Good luck!

Well I got those 5 gone and 3 more came over. Got them moved safely in a new home, 4 more showed. I give up. They have there uses like I made one a boy toy whoohoo and massages on command. I also use the to write articles on. My child ghost sim (both sims "living" there are ghosts) torments them to no end. Annoying but useful. Sims always seems to come over to die anyway, What is a few more tombstones to the eight I already have? I give up on saving these knocking freaks. Let them knock, let them die if that is their fate. More dead people haunting my haunted house.

Oh noooo!  @scoed   I'm so sorry to hear that the problem has only gotten worse!
Might I suggest that you repost your problem as a new topic in the Technical Help thread?  You're in the Miscellaneous Help thread now, but your problem sounds like a technical glitch and not a gameplay issue (the link is below).

Sounds like its really ruining your enjoyment of the game, to put it mildly.

I have tried to search this bug out and am not finding anything on it. Other than what's previously been posted.

However, a few troubleshooting tips I can think of are:

If it's still happening after evicting the family out of their house and then moving them back in.

1. Clearing game cache

2. Try saving both the family and house to the library. Start a new game with the family and house to see if the problem continues.

3. If that doesn't help, maybe try a factory reset
