Christopher is too adorable!
A perfectly shaped face, beautiful lips, his father's eyebrows (maybe?), and where did he get those piercing blue eyes? From Brenna?
Again, love the shots of Blake holding his infant son!

Oh my! Christopher is so handsome! Can't wait to see him as he ages. Lovely chapter, glad that Blake is trying to maintain a grip on his jealousy. *snicker*

@oshizu
He really is! His random child aspiration is Social butterfly and watching him talk to people is hilarious!  I haven't had such an expressive Sim child in a long time lol

@Playalot

Hehehe, he still feels tense, but at least he keeps it to himself ;)

Haha, I feel like I'd just sat down for breakfast with your sim family!

The three of them have such a great relationship--I love how Blake and Brenna interact as well as how they talk with Christopher.
I laughed at the picture of Brenna tutoring Christopher.
It's the exact same face a sim makes when mentoring another sim in fitness, like it's military training or something like that.  :D

It's great seeing Blake feeling secure and mellow.
Do Blake and Brenna share chores or split them up?
Lovely update!

P.S. This is going to be a humongous project, Shewolf!  I'm excited to know you'll be telling such a massive story!

@oshizu

^^ That actually makes me happy lol.  That's what I was going for with this chapter.  I haven't really had a chance to play alot lately, so the next few updates are going to be a very short timespan in game.  So had to come up with a story so I could do an update.  But yeah, they really do love one another.  There's a lot of autonomous interaction between them all.

Yeah, they tend to split chores.  Brenna does a lot of handiness (she needs maxed handiness to get into the Forgotten Grotto for her Angling Ace aspiration), Blake cooks, though if the other isn't there, they'll take on the other's chores.  And thanks so much, oshizu!  Yeah, I imagine it's going to a long and a big challenge, but that's what I was going for when I created it, so hopefully it works out well ^^

That was great! I'm loving this family. You really captured the gentle morning chaos of family life.  :)

Chapter 7: Like Father, Like Son is up!  This one is a bit shorter, but thought it was a good place to stop ^^

For those of you reading, would you like me to link a view-only copy of my spreadsheet to see some of the progress?  Or should I just put the stats on the blog as I have them?  I was also trying to figure out how to do the spreadsheet as an image, but it takes too long to crop out images and what not since it only fits sections on the screen at a time XD  Unless anyone else has suggestions?  I'll gladly take any help I can get lol

Christopher is such a lovable kid! His cuteness almost makes up for the lack of shirtless Blake (just kidding).
It's so fun following a sim from the time they're children!

Regarding us viewing your progress, I would enjoy that a lot. If I were you, I'd do whichever is less time-consuming for you so you'd have more time to play your challenge.  :D
Either a view-only Google doc or the stats in your blog would be easiest, I think. If you go with an image, you'll need to keep replacing the image as you make progress.
I would enjoy view-only Google Sheet links so I can look at the spreadsheets and pretend I'm playing your challenge. That's just me.

And by the way, I love how you're treating the Hanover Chateau as a separate entity, with your separate entries for the starting house and the post-Brenna house.  Very cool!

Sorry for the long-winded post.

@oshizu

--snickers-- Oh don't worry, Blake is not done being shirtless hehehehe  And yeah, getting to "grow up" with the Sim is fun ^^

Thanks for the feedback!  It's always appreciated ^^  I love building in the Sims, particularly TS4.  And in any multi-generational game, the house does take on as much of a personality as the family.

@Playalot

Isn't he though? lol I can't wait to see him older! lol

Just to let ya know, the first couple posts have been updated.  And the links for the google sheet are on the blog, under Meet the Family ^^

Off to view your spreadsheet! I need some inspiration. I suck at this compared to your amazing imagination
