Our adventure begins on an empty lot in Midnight Hollow where two loving parents say goodbye to their son.
Arlo: Umm, well, bye son.
Yvette: Yeah, we're going to go fade into the background now.
Thayne: Okay, but could you wait for me to age up to young adult first?
Arlo: I suppose.
And the aged up young man, complete with the greatest of fashion sense, suddenly got a great idea.Pippin: You should go to University to meet more people and develop your charisma skill before anyone in this town starts aging.
Thayne: Great idea!
Thayne: Well, according to this, I have no real skills and will get no scholarship money. I can't even afford to rent the moving van to get there.
Pippin: No worries, I already arranged for a ride.
Thayne: Really? The ice cream truck?
Pippin: What? You'll arrive looking cooler than cool!
And arrive he did. He found himself housed with 4 young ladies. There were two other fellows there as well, but that really didn't seem to interest him.
And he instantly began endearing himself to them.
Thayne: I'm going to end up with lots of money.
Random University Girl: I just noticed how cute you are...or will be.
Thayne: Hey, are you single?
Random University Girl: No, I'm actually dating the guy who invited you to this party.
Thayne: So you're saying I've got a shot?
Random University Girl: ...no...
Pippin: You know, Ann Connors is actually kind of cute without the ball cap look going on.
Thayne: (Sits awkwardly near her)
Ann: (Sits awkwardly near him)
Pippin: Yeah, these two should get along just fine.
Pippin: Yes. Just fine. That's just a friendly hug, though.
And so, our hero invests his time in speaking to a mirror, fiddling with a science station, and making a few friends. He also did a couple of odd jobs to earn money and applied for additional financial aid. With all of this on his plate, he managed to attend only two classes prior to finals and simply trusted to his own great intellect to see him through.
Thayne: Well, let's see how I did...
Thayne: Ugh, it's an F!
Pippin: Pretty sure that says F-.
And having accomplished level 4 in charisma and made some friends, not to mention having gained some simoleans, our hero triumphantly returns to Midnight Hollow.
Thayne: Please tell me you're not sending the ice cream truck again.
Pippin: But it's literally super-cool!!
