Wishing Well
« on: February 09, 2016, 07:12:27 PM »
Thought we could share our wishing well outcomes and experiences.

I'll kick off: my first sim wished for a child he got a happy moodlet for 24 hr and the message that adoption was pre-approved so he should head for a computer quickly. I actually didn't want to play with a child so I just left it at that.

I made his husband wish for a child too as I figured the 24hr happy moodlet was pretty sweet. He got granted a ghost child (black smoke and flashing lightening and all) that had the kleptomaniac trait! I decided that was just too good to refuse so I kept the kid and will have him join the Renegades. Should be fun as I've never played a ghost child before.

Then I had the ghost boy wish for better grades. It was granted and he moved from a C to a B. Nice!

Later I had my main sim wish for Youthful Vigor and had some days added to his life.

I had a starting sim wish for money without making an offering. She had $477 and received about $3500.
I had an elder wish for Youthful Vigor. She made an offering of $5000 and got an Energized moodlet good for 4 hours.
Another sim with a $5000 offering wished for romance and her soulmate emerged out of a pink cloud. Apparently your sim can't wish for romance if he's already in a relationship.
Another sim wished for more skill, and didn't receive a boost but was told that his skill in anything would improve more quickly for a while.

I had a sim wish for a child and she got a moodlet saying pregnancy was practically guaranteed if she woohoo-ed while it lasted. I placed a bush in the park, and had her try for baby right there and it definitely worked!
Her husband wished for happiness, but got an angry moodlet and the message that his happiness had been dispersed to nearby sims!

Having a lot of fun with this. Can't wait to try some more!

My sim made a wish for romance.

This made me laugh so hard. The friendship bar was completely red and the romance bar was full too.

So I guess that's going to be a love/hate relationship. :)

I had my sim wish for romance and she was granted with the knowledge of the Ultimate pick up line..she was able to use it only once and it would be sure to work.  She used it on Travis Scott and their romance meter filled half way up from nothing.

I've heard about these 6 outcomes for Romance:

1. Love-Hate Relationship
2. Soulmate
3. Ultimate Pick-up Line
4. Ghost Boy/Girlfriend
5. "Give up." You get a 4-hr sad moodlet and the info that it will be a while before any attempts at romance will work.
6. Paint the Town Pink. You get a +2 flirty moodlet for 8 hours.

Someone mentioned getting an Evil boyfriend, but I don't know if that's the same as the Love-Hate Relationship.

I have one more romantic outcome to add: the well told my sim to go out and "paint the town pink," and gave her a +2 flirty moodlet for, I think, 8 hours. It was cute, but a little disappointing after her $5000 donation before wishing!

Thanks for doing this!

One thing -- I've only gotten 4-hour moodlets. Is it possible to get them of varying lengths?

Also, what happens if your only sim in the household dies? Do you then have a playable ghost?

Haven't had time to play the sims this week, so will definitely download tonight!

@MarianT If the last sim in the household dies the Grim Reaper shows up and does his thing then you get a popup saying Game Over with the option to either Save and go to Manage Worlds or Exit to the Main Menu.
