Mumpire and Mumbot Ghosts
« on: November 16, 2010, 05:24:34 PM »
I didn't know where to put this thing, but I'm glad I have personal staff here (aka moderators) who can do a lot for me though! :D So I'm not worried.

Getting serious: I am curious about anyone who have a picture of a Mumpire Ghost (selfmade name for the ghost of a mummy vampire) for me because I am highly serious to how they look like.

A picture of a Vampbot Ghost is also highly recommended. Can simbots even become mummies? I'm sure they can become vampires though so why not.
And if simbots can become vampires I believe this could cure the sunlight problem for vampires, since simbots need the sun being their energy sorce.

Get your cameras fellow members! This is gonna be spooky! :D
Let the freakshow begin...

Wow Leto, that was a mouthful, haha.  I would be curious myself as to if these things can be created or whatever you call it.  I would imagine it would take some trial and error to figure it out.  Good luck, is all I can say. ;)

Well, I got interested and tried, and failed.
I choose Elvira Slayer to play with, got her with testingcheats to level 9 of her career and in few days she max it. Then bought LTR New Best Friend and got Cory Slayer SimBoot. Then moved in Matthew H. since he was the only regular Sim she had as friend. Bought 2 cursed sarcophagus and first tried to turn SimBot into Vampire - not possible. No option for it, she could turn in and drink Matthew and a neighbor, but not Simboot. So they both slept in cursed sarcophagus over and over again. She had neutral moodlet "Slept like dead" and SimBoot  only got good sleep. Then Matthew slept in it for 2 times and turn into mummy. Again, she could not to anything vampiric to mummy Matthew.
One thing was strange, somehow, she changed from evil to good, after all that sleeping in cursed sarcophagus. And SimBoot became evil, but not sure which trait was changed. And all got athletic skill but that is not relevant.
All in all, I couldn't make any combination you mentioned, but this household became pretty interesting one:

Would love to hear if anyone manage to do any of this you mentioned.

Well Anushka, I have to say you've put a lot of effort in this, thank you very much for trying. Impressive! :O

The sarcophagus does indeed give sims evil or good moodlets btw.

I recall reading (perhaps at The Sims Wiki) somewhere that Simbots can't become mummies or vampires.  :'(

However, I'm not sure about a mumpire.

They become evil (or good if already evil?), no mumpires that way. There's still ghosts left though.

Question: What happens if a simbot and a vampire procreate?

Simbots can't procreate.

Simbots can't procreate.

That would be a next step, in the evolution of robots: syntetic ones that one day will be 'compatible' with organic life.
But you're right; they can't procreate as you've said. Pretty weird that there are actually male and female simbots though.

How about attraction? Would a Sim attrached to females only be attrached to a female SimBot?

I thought to read they can't. But you sure could try. And if you succeeded, please post some pictures of the mumpire appearence.

Also, I remember that after I got every expansion of The Sims 2 I got some really bizar looking creature. One half alien from the basegame, later coming back from the death as a zombie, bitten by a vampire, later on changed into a plantsim (which was pretty bizar because vampires hate the sun and plantsims can't without it, resulting in a sim who benefits from both), fought a werewolf and became one and finally in the last expansion it learned witchery. How do we call such a creature? I came up with something like: Half-alien zompire wereplant simwitch. HZWS for short.
And no, I don't have pictures, but it could really be awesome to do such a thing with The Sims 3 creatures.

From reading some of the Sims 2 legacies and challenges, I think such a creature was called a "Black Sheep". Not sure why. You're right, that'd be awesome for Sims 3.  ;D What would a vampire Simbot drink, diesel?
