So Bob and Elli got stuck. Like waaaay stuck! She had a whim to go to the museum and I sent them there thinking they could make some friends and the second I queued up socials for them they just started swaying in place for 6 or 8 sim hours. Eventually I used resetsim and that worked but then it happened again. Team: can I restart? Or did I screw up by using resetsim without permission?

You're fine. Try and ask the team in the future for those situations before using cheats. If this does not get resolved then go ahead and restart.

Thanks Metro. Only after I had typed it in and hit enter my brain caught up and I was like "No! This is a tournament challenge file!!!" I'm going to try a repair and cache clean and if that doesn't work, I'll just factory reset and start from scratch. Unfortunately, we are having a severe storm here right now so I doubt I'm going to get any play time in tonight :-(

I wish all they wanted to do was Woohoo! Then I could accomplish these whims! Eliza keeps getting whims to "admire new possessions," but the action never comes up...and I can't seem to find the mythical side table mentioned earlier in this thread.

Nor can I now. I guess it was a lucky one-off! I've bought her loads of expensive new stuff,and the only thing she's admired has been an incense burner, and that was when it was a few days old.  A very frustrating challenge so far!
