I'm not getting gigs!

I just started a two-person band with a husband and his wife. I've been waiting for over a week now, grinding my instrument skills up, but I haven't any calls from an agent to do a gig.

I've gotten a couple of calls from my agent to work out for 4 hours, record commercials, entertain kids, etc. But no band gigs!

What do I need to do to get gigs?

I'm not finding much on how to get gigs and I haven't tried playing Sims that do gigs.

If you've got Into the Future installed, and you're okay with using mods. I'd suggest getting these two mods:

As the one mod fixes getting opportunities that ItF broke. The more opportunities, gives you quite a bit more opportunities.

I have these installed in my game and they do offer a lot -a lot- of opportunities.
