What does FrankenBear DO?

I saw this item under kids on the Sims 3 Store.

Meet FrankenBear. He used to be stuck under Timmy’s bed gathering dust and cobwebs, but he is so happy to belong to your child now. Please treat this bear with care.

Well, that's a BIG help, EA. So, what is Frankenbear?

It is just a new toy for the toddlers and children to play with.  I think they also added a whale toy. 
Our poor little Simmies are mostly forgotten  and EA probably thought they would give them something new to play with while their parents are out on the town.

Maybe its like those toys that can be made using the Inventor's bench... toy dogs and whales which make cute noises when played on...   Im sure it will be more than just a block of wood...

Sorry, these two toys don't make any cute noises.  Frankenbear has holes instead of 'eyes' and my toddler had her fingers in them.  The shark she just cuddled with.  Sorry, Simstar, the other toy is not a whale but a shark.

Pam, I have a shark toy in my TOY section.  I don't think it was there when I installed Ambitions, but it has been there since Late Night.  I have all of the items downloaded from the store except for several individual clothing items.  Not really sure when it appeared.  I'll check it out further when I log into my game tonight. 
Jeez - I hope I didn't get something weird by downloading from the exchange  .

Sherman the shark was part of the Animals Abound Playground Bed + Bath set.  I could not find it as an individual item in the store.  So you should be fine.  I don't think it is another "doll".

Thank you, but that link is for Frankenbear.  This link is for Sherman the Shark and he is sold as part of the set like gerrr said, not individually.  Sherman is the third item.

I was curious so I went into a game quick and had a toddler and a child play with the frankenbear.  They play with it like it was a car or airplane.  They stick their fingers through the eyes and make airplane noises while have it fly through the air.

My toddler just banged it on the floor and then loved on it.  Of course it was almost as big as her .  She aged up to a child last night, so I will see what she does as soon as I can play.  They all have so much fun with their toys!

You're right, the shark doesn't seem to be available separately from the set. Pity, it's cute   .
