Sims 4 for Mac - Game greyed out in Origin

Help! I have been searching the web for hours as well as waiting and waiting and waiting for the EA live chat to help but nothing has yet come through.

My Sims 4 game is greyed out in Origin and I am unable to play it. I have tried deleting the sims 4 cache files, restarting computer, origin, repairing game. I have been trying to find origin cache files but have yet to find instructions for how to do this on mac.

I am so frustrated as I put good money into this game and it is completely unplayable! If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated!
