Where is the Gamedata Folder in the Sims 3 Folder?

Hi Fellow Simmer's

I am trying to make some machinima, and have been trying to locate my gamedata folder so i can change my videocamera settings.

I am on windows and using windows 8.1, also have a 64bit system :-)

Depending on what version of the game you're using the GameData folder is in the install folder.

Path for the disc version -
C:\Programs(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Base Game\GameData

Path for the download version -
C:\Programs(x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Base Game\GameData

However, if you want to change your video settings you may want to have a look at your options.ini file.

C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3

Or you can change the video settings in-game via the Options > Video Capture tab.
