I can't seem to get anymore trophies for Sims 3 for the PS3 version

What kind of trophies are you talking about?

I cannot confirm that this is all trophies in the PS3 version, but the following is a list I found in an internet search. Your problem is probably that you missed one:

Sim about town trophy issue. Not sure which the best events to take my sim to.

Hmm, I don't really know myself, but my suggestion would be to go to as many as you can and hope that you soon enough will discover a particular event that works for the trophy. If it is similar to how skill challenges or opportunities works in the PC game, then things that may seem like sufficient to us may not work for some astounding reason.

I'm also playing this game on the PS3 and not sure the guide will help me with these trophies.

We're yet to elaborate on the console versions of Sims 3, but I saw now here that you won't get any trophies if you've cheated. Have you cheated with the save game in question?

Like Swede said you won't get any trophies if you've activated Spoot. With regards to the PS3 I've gotton about five in about an hour of playing. Don't focus on getting the trophies and they just pile in by doing normal stuff.

If you want to cheat but still get the trophies/achievements, then keep two save files. One where you've activated the cheats to try them out, and one to play normally. The saved games don't take a lot of space, so it's pretty easy to keep several saves for different families. Saved games can be named in a similar fashion to the PC version.
