Thanks! I already had those badges. When I first got the pc version, I went on a badge hunt. It was a carryover from the PS3 trophy system I guess. So far I've visited 5 of the kids' households. I'll probably put a post together tomorrow.

Congratulations on completing the challenge!
I've really enjoyed reading this--I get to enjoy Flip and Isla and all their children and grandchildren, while you do all the work!
Looking forward to your epilogue on the entire family!

I miss Flip and Isla already! (Okay, to be honest, mostly Flip...)

Badge?

Thanks! @Magpie2012 and @Deklitch .

@oshizu . You get EA badges for accomplishing different things. They're pretty meaningless really. One badge is for having a sim have 15 children and 30 grandchildren.

First I checked in on Alpha. Her LTW was The Perfect Garden, Supermax Gardening, Career Gardener, and she purchased Alpha’s Green Grocer.
The family still lives at 72 Water Lily Lane and had  99,598 in available cash, probably from when Gobias was a level 7 scientist. When Tank started the sports career, Gobias showed up as a teammate. He was at level 1 and was glitched so he couldn’t actually go to work. I had him go back to science.
When I first checked in everyone was home except Alpha who was at the nectary and juiced to the point of nausea. Nice. She went home and did this.

Holly Alto is now living with them so I got an extra bed. She’s listed as Ace’s fiancé, and yes, they are still teens. (I checked and they don’t have any adult romance options).

Everybody in the house is best friends except Gobias who is actively disliked by 3 out of 4. He’s still friends with Alpha, perhaps because his ice blasts backfire.

I sent the kids off to school the next day. The boys still had A grades and Holly did by the end of the day.

When they got home, I went to Abel’s inventory to click on his homework. He had 60 Sloppy Jalopies and Big Lemons. I sold them all.
Ace had 95. Sold.
Holly only had her usual Big Lemon.
Alpha had 50 Margaret Vaguesters and 57 VFN Compensators. Sold.
Gobias had…well he had a lot of cars. I passed around five of his Margaret Vaguesters and sold the rest.
We will leave the family with their $15million+ and move on.

I moved on to Bravo.  Her LTW was Swimming in Cash, supermax was handiness, career firefighter, and she purchased Bravo’s Fixers.
They still live in Chris’s old house at 373 Skyborough Blvd. Evidently firefighters  don’t get paid if they’re not watched because the family only had $500. I sold the magically produced apples in their inventories and left them with $920.
Don’t feel sorry for them as they are super happy. They’re all best friends and the girls are A students and their inventories are not glitched in any way.
When I first popped in Bravo, Chris, and Benni were all outside the theater socializing and Bitsi was at home finishing her school work. They all had dinner and went to bed.

We’ll leave them sleeping and move on to Charlie.

Charlie’s LTW was Culinary Librarian, supermax cooking, career culinary, and he purchased Charlie’s Diner. They live next door to Isla and Flip at 86 Landgraab Ave and had $169,312 in available funds.
Once again they are all best friends and the kids are A students.
Now it was completely my fault because unwatched kids don’t have to worry about curfew, but I popped in at 3am and Carla was at Performance Park being picked up by the cops.

She was hauled home where Madison got up and grounded her and stayed up to play. At about this time Conrad got up and dressed for school in his formal wear.

While Madison and Charlie were sleeping, I had Carla sneak off to school. Of course she got in trouble for that when she got home. I had Charlie let her off the hook.

Charlie still enjoys cooking.

When Charlie moved out, I felt guilty for keeping his special, magical fridge and bought the family a top of the line TV and game console. We’ll leave them enjoying it.

Moving on to Delta, his LTW was Rock Star, supermax guitar, career music, and he purchased Delta’s Community Theater.  They live at 325 Oakgrove Rd. They had $48,946 in funds, but that went up to $77,599 when I sold the 27 Sloppy Jalopies and Big Lemons in Darya’s inventory.
When I got there it was after 10pm and only Blair was home. I quickly sent the girls home to avoid curfew violations which would be embarrassing for Blair since she’s still a cop.
Blair was hungry and wanted to learn how to cook so I had her start with an autumn salad. This house has a lot of kitchen gadgets.

The two fairy girls, Dorri and Delia (I think), came home to eat. Darya, our witch, was too tired and went straight off to bed.  The girls are all A students, and everyone likes each other.

In the morning, I had Delta get up and magically upgrade the fireplace to fireproof.

Darya apparently wanted to do it herself, or wanted to start the fire, or maybe just talk to her father, but we’ll never know because the school bus came.

With the girls at school and Blair at work, Delta decided to play his guitar in his undies. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

My next stop was 20 Summer Hill Ct. where echo lives. Echo’s LTW was Bottomless Nectar Cellar, her supermax nectar making, her career nectar maker, and she purchased Echo’s Nectar Bistro.
The family had $96,312 in funds and nothing unusual in their inventories. However they seemed to be having other problems. Especially Echo.
When I got to their house I was greeted by this. It looks like they were just reset there.

The kids were skipping school and were the only ones so far with B grades. I sent them off.
Everyone was friends except Echo who also had a lot of enemies in the community. Her needs bars were all stuck too. I reset her and she got back to normal. She and Stiles are still autonomously romantic and were good friends in just a few minutes.

Eden did her homework after school and decided to play her guitar in the bathroom.

Evan cleaned up the dishes and broke the dishwasher.

Stiles is still working in the music industry. His guitar and logic levels are great, but he does not get along with his coworkers, and will never get that raise until he does.

We’ll leave him ranting. After checking on the first 5 kids, it’s time for a quick check on Flip and Isla.
I found them at Flying Foxtrot’s coffeehouse along with a mob of people. They are happy and taking good care of themselves.

It was late so I sent them home. Hey, when did you get that car!

@oshizu , It's been interesting seeing what they're up to. So far, Alpha's family has been the biggest mess. It's like they're where old cars go to die.

Time to check in on Foxtrot. Her LTW was Master Acrobat, supermax Athletic, career acrobat, and she purchased Flying Foxtrot’s Coffeehouse.
For once everyone was at home (98 Landgraab Ave.). They have $89,125 in funds.
Both Fritz and Fergie have A’s, perhaps due to Foxtrot’s homework help system.

Fritz is best friends to the entire family. Of course none of them are werewolves.

Connor, a professional writer, uses his computer to play games now.

Could that explain his mysterious weight gain? Probably not. Let’s leave them fishing off their back deck.

Next stop, 65 Maywood Lane, the home of Golf’s family. They have $48,595 in funds.
Golf’s LTW was Super Popular. He supermaxed charisma, the political career, and purchased Golf’s Friendship Park. Clean it up, dude!
When I arrived this was happening, and pretty much was all Golf and Lisa did while I was there.

Greta had finished her homework and helped herself to a bowl of cereal while Genghis started hers. The excitement was too much for me, and I moved on.

My next stop was Hotel’s place at 455 Sunnyside Blvd. Hotel’s LTW was Visionary, her supermax painting, she maxed the painter career , and purchased Hotel’s Gallery of Art.
The family has $8,317 and Hattie has a sailboat in her inventory. So far every grandkid has had a car (or dozens) in their inventory, and a degree from university.
I found Hotel and Arlo flirting and Hattie awkwardly watching. Hattie is the family member I have seen around town the most, avoiding the sight of parents making out possibly?

I found Hannah at the community pool.

It also surprised me that so many of the adults were in various stages of being juiced.

Of the families I’ve visited so far, this is the one I’d be most like to play someday. Who wouldn’t?

India’s LTW was Scientific Specialist. He supermaxed science and the business career. He purchased the India Minds His Own Business Towers.
The family lives in Agnes’ old house at 230 Redwood Pkwy. and has $101,363 (more was added to this from India’s working from home).
I found Agnes and Ian at the salon visiting with Golf.

India was outside of Flying Foxtrot’s playing catch with Lisa.

Iris was at home quietly reading.

One by one, the others came home. Ian made microwave hotdogs and everyone ate. Iris took care of the dishes. I, however, put away the leftovers.

India seems a bit obsessed with working from home, which is probably why they have as much money as they do. We’ll leave him to it.

Juliet’s LTW was Alchemy Artisan, he supermaxed alchemy and the alchemy career. He purchased Juliet’s Elixirs.
The family lives at 91 Landgraab Ave and has $19, 769 in funds. The entire family seems to have a glitched energy bar. No one gets tired and sleeping does not fill it all the way.
I found the family at the Karaoke club where it was apparently Werewolf Night. That’s Java in werewolf form singing with another werewolf being watched by Zelda also in werewolf form. Somehow Juliet does not look frightened.

James does not approve.

Everyone was hungry so I sent them home.

Zelda is one freaky looking werewolf in her swimwear.

For a non-neat sim, Juliet is a bit obsessed with the dishes. He cleaned some and broke the kitchen sink, completed those in the bathroom. I had him repair the sink. He then went around and collected more and washed them. He should be put in charge of cleaning up the park.

It’s time once again to check in on Isla and Flip. I found them outside the karaoke club playing a middle of the night game of catch. While they were playing, Isla reached level 8 in athletics. She throws one mean football.

I sent them home.
Another new car? Really?

I loved Foxtrot's house the best, because the family could fish off the patio deck!
So fascinating that the household dynamics (and income) vary so much!

Isla's intense expression as she throws the football is hilarious.

@oshizu , Thanks, I like that house too. I like small, uncomplicated houses best. With big multistory houses (are you familiar with the Best house in Starlight Shores?) it takes forever just to get sims out the door.

I only had time to check in on 3 kids yesterday.
First up was Kilo. His LTW was Presenting the Perfect Private Aquarium, his supermax fishing, and his career Singer. He purchased Kilo’s Karaoke.
He lives at 15 Maywood Lane with his family, and they have $18,492 at their disposal. It was 5:30am when I got there and Emma was very tired.

Kilo, Karl, and Kiki were well rested but super hungry. They helped themselves to whatever was in the fridge.

Kiki seems to have a drinking problem. She helped herself to 6 quick drinks in quick succession before school. It’s a good thing she has a Steel Bladder.

While the kids were at school and Emma was sleeping, Kilo was picked up by his limo and driven to Alpha’s house to perform a singing telegram.

He sang for Ace to congratulate him on completing his homework. Well, that’s nice, but both Ace and Abel were skipping school.

It’s sweet that Emma is still so delighted at being married. We’ll leave them there in flirt mode.

I went looking for Lima next. His LTW was Professional Author, his supermax writing, his career writer, and he purchased Lima’s Libros. He lives at 303 Skyborough Blvd., but he wasn’t there. He was at the park chatting with Oscar.

Speaking of the park, for the first time since very early on in this project, it’s clean.

Meg and Leon were chatting at home. Hey Leon, you should be at school! His grade has dropped to a B, but I’ll forgive him. He had enough cars in his inventory to take the family funds from $270,959 to $917,683.

Lita was at school and still has an A. She sat on the steps to do her homework. Her cousin Java looked stunned at the sight.

As did Hattie and a whole parade of exiting cousins.

All on his own, Leon decided to make mac and cheese for the family. Lima had a lot of left over lth points, so he quickly fireproofed is household just in case.

It was probably a good idea.

While the family was playing video games, Iliana Langerak dropped by.

No, Lima, stop flirting! Poor Meg.
We’ll leave Lima apologizing to the entire family.

Next stop, 5 Sun Song Ave. and our lovely Mike. The family only had $500 in funds, but Mike was carrying a $19,800 boat and two Margaret Vaguesters. She sold the boat and one of the cars so the family funds increased to $114,800.
Mike’s LTW was Street Credible, she supermaxed street art, was a master magician, and purchased Magic Mike’s Party Warehouse.
It was evening when I arrived and both Max and Maggie were home listening to Maggie’s favorite Chinese music. I don’t know why Maggie is pulling that face, but when she’s not , she’s so pretty that I saved her to the library.

Gun was at the museum looking rather blankly at this statue.

Mike was there too, but much more enthusiastic.

Okay, everybody, you’re dead on your feet. Get to bed.
Gun was up first in the morning, very seriously dancing the smustle.

The kids, both A students, took off for school, while the parents danced together. I probably would have left them there if a simfest hadn’t been announced.

Even though she put on a pretty good show (she no longer had most of her stage props), Mike lost to the woman she’s levitating here. You should have levitated her right out of Sunset Valley.

Back at home Hattie came over for homework…

…and Max won the cousins’ mac and cheese cook off. Very nice.

Max and Maggie might be my favorite grandchidren, though I couldn't find a good shot of Max's face here.  Leon is also a personal favorite.

Gunther scrunching his eyebrows so seriously while dancing is too funny. You'd warned me that fairies dance  a lot.
Is the smustle the sim version of "The Hustle" (da da da da Do the hustle!)

@oshizu , Yes, as someone who was an adult through the disco era, I'd say it based on the Hustle and almost as irritating.

It’s time to pay November a visit at 270 Sunnyside Blvd. November’s LTW was Living in the Lap of Luxury, his supermax sculpting, his career sculptor, and he purchased November’s Swap Shop.
The family only had $500, but Nan sold one of her two Margaret Vaguesters and increased their funds to $105,500.
It looks like they all got reset home.

They were exhausted so I made them go to bed. Neal, however, got right back up to do his homework.
I sent him back to bed.

Their house is nice, but with all those stairs, it takes a while to accomplish anything.

When the school bus arrived, Neal went straight away – it took him 35 minutes to get on the bus. Nemo, being Neat, insisted on putting the dishes into the dishwasher. The bus didn’t actually leave until after 9am. The boys completed their late homework at school and actually made it back on the honor roll.

November spent his day playing computer games.

Nan decided to make waffles. They were so bad, they were not only black, but when she cleaned them up, they broke the dishwasher.

The second time around the waffles came out normal.

November, you should know better than to compare your wife’s waffles to rocks.

Neal still enjoys his guitar.

We’ll leave Nan and Nemo reading The Sandwich Horror and True Fairy Tales, respectively. Enjoy your afternoon.

Oscar’s family only moved out of the empire house a week ago so I was surprised that they already had $10,655. I found Oscar outside the diner chatting with Foxtrot.
Oscar’s LTW was Chess Legend, her supermax Logic, her career Investigator, and her building Oscar’s Logic and Science Lab.

Odin was the only one at home (250 Redwood Pkwy.). He was checking himself out in the mirror again.

Oleta was at the nectary. Except for Michael Bachelor, the nectar merchant, she was surrounded by family. Alpha, Gobias, Anges, India, and Carla are all visible here. Iris and Charlie were around too.

Oleta served up some nectar and helped herself.

When I arrived, Tank was at work playing a game. When he was watched his record was 6-0. It’s now 6-2. Looking for consolation in food, Tank?

We’ll leave the last child and family enjoying Tank’s goopy carbonara.

Flip and Isla are never home when I switch to them, and no matter what time of day it is, they are never tired. I found Isla at Performance Park chatting with Bravo.

Flip was at the bistro playing the violin. It’s 4am. Go home. If you don’t, you’ll never see what I got for you.

What was their reward for a job well done? A fancy car? No, they managed to get those on their own. A trip to France? No, my computer would probably blow up.
They got the best reward ever. I enabled Generations and got them a waterslide. Um, guys, see a waterslide.

Okay, there you go.

The Family Empire project was completed Week 63 Day 3. The family was worth 7.3 million. It could have been a lot more but somewhere along the line I stopped trying. Same with lifetime happiness points, Flip accumulated more than a million while Isla had more than 1.1 million. Flip had made 673 friends ( how can that be?) and Isla had 644 – the slacker. Flip and Isla had both caught more than 1,000 fish. Flip had tutored children for 213 hours. Isla did most of the cooking, but due to the abundance of cake, only made 108 meals.
They had 15 children – 8 boys and 7 girls and 31 grandchildren – 14 boys and 17 girls.
We are all glad to be done.
Flip and Isla: We want to have a child!

I really enjoyed being taken along on this challenge!
Besides Magic Mike, Gunther (because he dances though his expressions are scary), Maggie, and Max, I also really like Juliet's grandsons Java and James, Kilo (his hair and singing telegrams) and lovely Oscar.
Oh and of course Nan (she's unbelievably kawaii) and November (because he's always in his briefs).

The whole family is fascinating but I especially liked the sims I listed above.
Thank you very much for buying Flip and Isla a waterslide, Watcher. I was quite dismayed then Flip abandoned the sprinklers for the football!

A job very well done to all three of you!  Flip and Isla got their waterslide but, KRae, what reward are you planning for yourself?
My mind and computer couldn't have handled that many sims! A hearty congrats!

My reward will be doing a rather mad project with a lot of death and possibly not even keeping track of my score. I'm thinking a Short Dynasty.

*I just came back from reading about your shorty dynasty rules.
Dynasty requirements to complete within a shorter lifespan for 10 generations?
I'd think getting to the end of that would be an achievement in itself (I wouldn't want to score myself....)

I hope you write a story for it! Watching you and your sims going mad would be fun?!
And more beautiful sims!
