@oshizu , I think you just showed us your Brave trait.

You too, @Deklitch . I see you back there! Actually since I've been trying for twins with the grandkids, I'm surprised that there's only been one set of triplets thus far.

I’m not sure why you look so shocked, Isla. You should be used to this by now.
Isla: Take a closer look, Watcher.

So here’s a closer look at Oscar Khan-Doe. I don’t know where those brown eyes came from either, Isla.
Oscar’s traits are Heavy Sleeper and Perceptive.

Flip: You can do this, baby girl. You’re so smart.

Isla: I’m not here just to teach you to talk, Oscar, but to share my wisdom. Don’t trust your father around footballs.

Flip: Ooo, just look at you walking. What a big girl. Pretty soon you’ll be able to play catch with daddy.

Time for the birthday sparkle dance.

Oscar aged up with this hair and the Loves the Outdoors trait.

Flip: Watch yourself, Watcher. I’m doing science.

Flip: Arg! Failure! Now I’ll never get to clone Nick Alto. Oh well, let’s see who else I have in my pocket.

After a quick shower, Flip was back. Success! Welcome to the empire house, Tank Goddard.

Tank is Athletic and a Sailor…and, yes, a werewolf. This I was expecting.

Tank: Grrr.

Isla: Who’s the cutest little furniture destroyer ever? You are!

Tank quickly became friends with everyone.

Although he was created by Flip, Isla was in charge of Tank’s training.
Tank: I’m a toddler. Don’t you think it’s a little soon to talking about marriage.
Isla: *just laughs*

Don’t say you weren’t warned about this.

Soon Tank was ready for childhood.

Tank, like the rest of the family, now Loves the Outdoors.

Tank: I’m hot on your trail, bandits. When I catch you, you’re gonna join the were-posse!

Tank and Oscar enjoyed a twilight Frisbee toss. No one was injured.

Tank: You know what the best color in the world is? Sea foam, that’s what. It’s almost white, but when you look closely there’s just this fascinating hint of green. Hey, you’re kind of sea foam.
Oscar: Yes, yes I am.

We’ll leave them there on the brink of teenhood, before Oscar starts pointing out the charms of the color violet.

Brave? Nah, I just wanted to be able compare the last child to all her siblings.   :D

Tank is really cute. In fact, they're quite an adorable pair, Oscar and Hank, I mean, Tank.
Good thing that Flip is such a super-trainer, cuz I can't wait to see them as teens!

I'm sad that I won't be seeing any more Flip-Isla nooboos.
Could you at least bring back the sprinkler?

@oshizu , The sprinkler has been there all along. It's just that since Flip permanently borrowed the Goth's football and they got the sandbox, the sprinkler has been rarely used.

The next day, Tank had his birthday.
Tank: Cake. Again. Wonderful.

After finishing his cake, Tank went to comb his hair out of his eyes. He rolled the Great Kisser trait.

The next day was Oscar’s birthday.
Oscar: Just once could we have a nice salad?

Even before posing for her birthday picture, Oscar found a job at the mortuary through the newspaper.

Oscar is now Irresistible. No one else in the family has lips like hers. I didn’t really mean to connect those two things.

Tank decided it was time to develop his athletic abilities.
It will get easier.

Tank: Maybe jogging will hurt less.
Not in my experience.
After some chin ups and a jog, Tank reached level 4 in athletics. Do werewolves learn athletics at an accelerated rate, or is something up with Tank?

Hurray, cake!
Tank: Oh, shut up.

Tank now has a Good Sense of Humor. You’re going to need it.

Tank: Watch out level seven, here I come.

Tank: Move those feet! You can’t be an athlete by just firing a football at innocent women.
Flip: Help.

Tank and Oscar were chatting when she decided to show him a gross video. He almost lost his cake.

Tank has a job now at the stadium. I don’t think he’s on the ultimate Frisbee team, but he could be.

Here’s a wider view of the yard. I didn’t tell any of them to do this.

Tank: Wow, flame fruit pancakes! I never knew food could be so wonderful.
Oscar: Enjoy it while you can. My birthday is in two days and it’s back to cake.

On his fourth day of working out, Tank reached level 10.
Tank: Well, that was easy.

Oscar: Hello, Boss. Thanks for the promotion. I quit.
Boss: Why do I keep hiring you Khan-Does?

The next day after school, Oscar had her birthday. Is that Emma flying by? Stick around, help eat the cake.

Oscar is now a Genius and wants to be a Chess Legend.
Oscar: Dad always said I was smart.
That lifetime wish and the logic supermax? I question his judgment.

Does Oscar and Tank share purple as a favorite color, or is that just a coincidence (or perhaps a reflection of your favorite color)?
I love whatever she's wearing in that shot with Emma flying by. Is that a layered skirt? Cullottes? Pantaloons?
The beard really suits Tank!

I'm looking to when the two start developing a special interest in each other!

@oshizu , Oscar likes violet and Tank likes sea foam. I've had Oscar wearing purplish things, but Tank may just be trying to please Oscar. I think that's a layered skirt possibly from Supernatural.

Oscar’s first step as a young adult was to sign up to be an Investigator.

Next she downed a liquid job booster and star-gazed. This got her to level one in both her job and logic.

Oscar: I want to buy a chess table.
You got it.
Oscar: Chairs too, thanks!

Oscar took a break and walked by the sandbox.
Oscar: Whoa! Is that you, Tank? Why have I never noticed just how attractive you are?
Tank: It’s about time, my sea foam princess.

Let’s zoom out a bit. Yup, awkward.

Oscar got her first case. It involved Malcom and Nancy Landgraab. They were having a conflict over Malcom’s toothbrush.

In her next case, Oscar had to settle the differences the same two were having over mouthwash. While she appreciated their oral hygiene, Oscar offered Nancy a bribe and suggested family counseling.

With her job going well, Oscar decided it was time to invite her first chess opponent over for a game. She beat Iqbal Alvi easily.

As it turned out, most of her opponents  were siblings, inlaws, nieces, and nephews. I think this is Max.
Tank: I’m off to work, Princess, take it easy on the kid.

Oscar got a new career outfit and finally (3rd case) got to snoop for clues.

She also discovered at a 3am stakeout, that Nemo and Genghis were involved in a shady chop-shop.

Oscar: You know, Gunther, you look amazingly like my brother-in-law, Gun.

Fittingly enough, Oscar maxed her investigator career while using the telescope. She celebrated by purchasing Oscar’s Logic and Science Lab.

Sometimes her chess opponents were busy, so Oscar filled the time by tutoring the neighborhood youth. Malcom needed quite a bit of help.

Holly, however, must have already been a B student because it went much more quickly.

Cora, the newspaper deliverer, must have never picked up her homework before. She never did get completely tutored, but Oscar did reach her 20 hours of tutoring.

Agnes was Oscar’s 13th opponent. Up to this point, Oscar had only had 3 losses. Agnes, who was not intimidated by the bikini, beat her 4 times before finally losing.

Kiki was Oscar’s final opponent. It was an easy victory. Not surprising as Kiki is no genius and as far as I know had never before played chess.

Oscar was still only at level 8 in logic, but with her lifetime wish nearly in her grasp and only a million celestial objects left to discover (16 actually), she decided it was time to get started on her personal life.

Well, Oscar sure advanced through her career promotions smoothly (at least it seems that to me as reader).
I'm glad the Sea Foam Princess finally noticed her (Purple?) Prince!

So that's the original Gunther Goth, then?

Do Flip and Isla still roll wishes for nooboo-ing?

Very cool to see former members of the household about town!

I can’t really take credit for the sandcastle/sculpting skill link.  I remember several of us discussing it when some of my adult Sims maxed the sandbox skill – I think in the WYD challenge.  I’d read somewhere online that it read across to sculpting but still haven’t tested it (my Household Skills family aren’t allowed to sculpt yet).

Someone really needs to talk to Golf about the unsanitary conditions at the park.

Oh yuk!  That’s really horrible.  I thought dirty dishes were magically cleared up at 3a.m. every day.  Maybe that version of Sunset Valley has seriously messy Sims ;).

Glad to see Oscar continuing the tradition of name/gender mismatches  ;D.  She has very striking looks – kind of pixie-like.

@oshizu , It really was fast. The combination of liquid job boosters and learning logic made it really effortless.
Isla and Flip continuously wish to have kids. They both have accumulated over 1,000,000 lifetime happiness points so I only promise wishes that can be completed autonomously like become a gradparent, go fishing, kiss each other.

@hazelnut , I, too, thought the park was supposed to clean up during the night. It's been gross pretty much the entire game. When I finish this project, I probably need to do a factory reset.

For Oscar, moving on with her personal life was a two step process.
Step one involved Tank.
Tank: Of course I’ll marry you, my Sea Foam Princess.

Step two also involved Tank.

The next day, searching for celestial objects kept getting interrupted.

Later she went to the cemetery to search for clues.
Oscar: What I’d really like to find is a sandwich.
You’re not even hungry.
Oscar: And your point is..??

Oscar felt sick again and took off for home.
Tank patiently waited for her to finish vomiting before kissing her.
Ew.

That must have been some kiss.
Oscar: Well yes, it was but I also just realized that I’m pregnant.

Oscar and Tank decided to get married before the birth of their baby.

Hey, what are you reading?
Oscar: Totally Preggers
Tank: Wee Swimmers
No comment.

Oscar was still trying to complete her case at the cemetery.
Quick, turn around! Nemo’s up to no good again.
Oscar: I don’t need to turn around. I’m just that good.

Oscar tried to turn in her findings, but was distracted by ghostly grossness and decided to fish instead.
Ghost: We have so much in common, I’d love to get to know you better.
Oscar: Just no.

That evening, Oscar went into labor.
Tank: Tell me what to do! Tell me what to do!
Go read something.
Tank: Okay. I really to want to learn how to make cookies.

Synchronized floorbooing.  (What do you mean that’s not a word, Word)

The next morning Oleta was first to her cake. She is Perceptive and Hates the Outdoors.
What little werewolf looks just like her daddy?
Oleta: Me?

Flip: Let’s get you potty-trained, sweetie. You don’t know it now, but I’m your new best friend.

Next up: Odin – Loves the Outdoors and Couch Potato. He has Isla’s hair color.

The toddlers quickly learned their skills.
Oscar: My first case was about a toothbrush.
Odin: Color me impressed.

Tank: I just love working out.
Oleta: Good for you. Can we buy a TV?
You know, as soon as you have your birthdays, I think we will. Maybe a game console too.

Oleta and Odin: Okay, we’re ready!

Wow, can't believe that mean Watcher is finally going to break down and buy the household a TV and a gaming console.  Just kidding

I wonder how the household changes with the presence of those two things.  I'll soon find out!
Both babies are very cute, but Oleta is especially pretty!
They seem to be speeding through their skilling very quickly!

@oshizu , With one kid hating the outdoors and the other being a couch potato, I decided a tv would make them happy. Also, I've been keeping the house small and trying not to over-clutter it to help rendering. With the potty chairs gone (happy dance), there was room for a tv.

First up to the cake – our little werewolf.

Oleta added the Daredevil trait. She added a little black to her wardrobe.

Odin aged up already wearing his favorite color green.

Odin is now a Snob. I guess he should get used to staring into the mirror.

It was getting late, but there was still time for a tutoring session.
Oleta and Odin: Why did you get us a television if you’re not going to let us watch it?

Oscar finally reached level ten in logic and completed her lifetime wish. She still has another 10 celestial objects to discover.

Level ten in logic? You know what that means – tutoring time!
First victim – Bitsi.
I say victim because I got busy with the rest of the family and forgot about Oscar until 9 hours later. It was after 11:30pm when Oscar finally ended the session. Sorry, Bitsi.
Oscar: Let me tell you about my first case involving a toothbrush.

Odin: We’re so lucky to be the last grandkids. Watcher’s really getting lax. She even gave us multitabs to do our homework.
Yes, watcher burnout has set in.

Oscar: Let me tell you about the logic of flowers.
Oleta: Sure, Mom.

Odin: Maybe Mom will forget about us, and we can just watch the fishing channel.
Oscar: I heard that!

Oleta: If we work together, maybe we can save the dragon.
Odin: I thought we were trying to kill the dragon.

Get to bed, you two. It’s after midnight and if you get some sleep, you should make the honor roll tomorrow.

Oleta and Odin are really beautiful children, something about their face shape with the high cheekbones.

TV, multitabs for homework, what next?
Your challenge approaches its completion. I am sad for me but happy for you.  ;D

@oshizu , It's been a good project but any project gets a little tedious. I should have named one of Oscar's kids Oshizu. You've been such a faithful poster.

The next day, both kids got on the honor roll and had their birthdays after school.
Oleta was first.
You look pretty cute.
Oleta: I need more black. Can I dye my hair?
No.

Odin, you look too much like one of your uncles (Golf, maybe?), so let’s change your hair…

…right after Tutormania.

Oleta’s traits are now Perceptive, Hates the Outdoors, Daredevil, and Excitable.

Odin’s traits are Loves the Outdoors, Couch Potato, Snob, and Good.
Odin: I really want to save the earthworms.

The family is becoming nerdy friends. No one is high enough yet to berate intelligence so all is well. They don’t even seem to mind that Oscar is tutoring Tank right in front of the TV.
Tank reached level 5 in logic and Oscar checked off one more logic challenge.

Oscar is still working as an investigator. She didn’t seem to have any qualms about breaking into Charlie’s house.

When it came to actually dusting for prints, her conscience got the better of her and she sneaked right back out.

Oleta, you hate the outdoors. How did you let Flip talk you into playing catch?
Oleta: He’s just so darn charming.
That’s going to leave a mark, you know.

Oleta and Odin both got promoted at the mausoleum, but didn’t immediately quit. The Khan-Doe teens have gotten a reputation of being unreliable.

Oscar finally discovered her 20th star the day before the teens’ honor roll requirement was met.

That same day Tank reached level 10 of his sports career. The team won their latest game 17 – 0.
Tank: Mostly because I look cool.

The next day, all requirements met, Oscar and family moved to this house next door to Agnes and India.

The Khan-Doe’s have official met all the Family Empire requirements. However, now that I can, I will be family hopping to check in on everyone and to post their stats, with one final check on Flip and Isla to reward them for a job well done.
