How to Extend One Life?

I made an elder Sim, who's going to pursue the Surrounded by Family LTW. Only problem is, I noticed that when her first child was around the end of her toddlerhood, her age bar was filling up, and I was afraid she was going to die before she got her LTW. So, I turned off aging, and began aging up her children with cheats every two Sim weeks. It gets annoying, so is there a way to disable aging for her, and only her? If not, I'm going to have to do it Immortal Dynasty style, but the fishing skill is a pain for me.

For every life fruit she eats, she will gain a day in her life cycle.  Once you get life fruit producing, it should be no problem keeping her supplied and if you don't want anyone else to have access to the life fruit, put a fence around the plants with a gate locked for all but her and have her keep the fruit in her backpack.

Also if you are using cheats then you can use BuyDeBug to get at the LifeFruit Plants and just harvest the ones with fruit on.

I already used cheats to place all kinds of rare fruit on Stony Falls, seeing as they live right next to it. ^^;;
Although Ambrosia would be a lot faster. What do you need to make it?

For Ambrosia, you need life fruit and deathfish as ingredients, also a level 10 cook who has learned the recipe.

There's all this annoyance about how you can only catch a certain fish with certain bait, and it sometimes takes forever to get the kind of fish you want.

I keep a printed list of fish and bait beside my computer.  And do you know that if your Sim reads the fishing bait books that the correct bait will be part of the skill journal and will automatically show up when you go fishing?  For Deathfish, there's a fairly simple chain:  cheese = Alley Catfish = Angelfish = Deathfish.  Alley Catfish and Angelfish can both be caught in the pond at Summerhill springs (the piece that's closest to the Alto mansion).  Then off to the cemetary at midnight for Deathfish.

And you know, I hardly ever use the specific bait for the specific fish. Just using the normal bait seems to catch me every kind of fish I'd like...

What "normal bait" are you referring to?

I believe she means by not using any bait at all.

When you select choose bait it is just a hook and not using any fish/produce from your inventory, your Sim will automatically fish with that until you make them fish with a specific bate.
