Need Advice For The Sims 3 and Supernatural

I am still a console player mostly for The Sims games and during the summer I think this year I decided to get The Sims 3 and Supernatural.  I bought them from the Walmart website and they were cheap.  Then, I get an email from them for a code for each game and I'm confused.  It didn't say anywhere on the description for the games for a code only game I thought I was getting actual hard copies of each game but whatever.  I installed them and for a bit I was enjoying playing as Vampires and Fairies, but I never advanced my fairy into a higher powered fairy or something.  I even tried a Witch and got bored too quickly.  It's not that I'm being lazy and don't want to go through the effort to advance her I just don't have motivation to, it's not interesting to me.

I downloaded the Grim Reaper and decided to just play as a regular Sim and after a while I wanted something different.  Today after not having played my PC version for a while I decided to edit the town and take control over the Goth family to watch Mortimer's story play out and have him meet Bella, etc.  But, using premade Sims isn't as much fun as making your own and watching their story play out.

I also feel like the town is way too busy, like 100 houses and 50 markets, etc (I know not that amount just exaggerating) seems like too much.  I know I complained a while back about The Sims 3 Pets being too simple and lacking lots of things compared to the PC version. I sort of thought about buying the Sims 3 Pets for PC, so I can have a Unicorn or horse as a pet but I worry I may become bored with it too quickly.

I almost thought about uninstalling my Sims 3 games but since they are downloaded versions I bought I won't be able to get them back.  That's why I wanted actual games so if I uninstall them I can reinstall them later if I want.

Do you guys think I should just uninstall Supernatural and get Pets?

Sorry for all the ranting, just needed to vent a little.  Thanks for reading if you made it this far.  Also, thanks in advance for advice.  Sorry if this is in the wrong spot.

If your games are registered with Origin, you can download them at anytime. Go to your Origin account and under My Games TS3 should be there. From there click on the "I" (I think) and any Expansions should be there. If you want to try Pets, you can leave them both installed.

Thanks.   Yeah, I mean I can keep them installed but I think I'm mostly tired of the Supernatural Sims.  I know I don't have to have vampires or whatever in my family but I mean have the entire game with humans.  If I install Pets and have Supernatural installed I'm still going to have Supernatural Sims in my game right?

Yes, but under options you can uncheck whichever supernaturals you don't want in your game. If you're playing in Moonlight Falls, you'll still have the original ones, but they won't spread like a disease. If you're playing in Sunset Valley, there may not be any at the beginning even. I like gardening so even when I'm not interested in supernatural sims, I keep it installed just to get the additional plant options. I don't have Pets for the pc, so I don't have any advice there. I think expansions are very much just a personal preference. For instance, I love World Adventures but really don't like Seasons. If your Origin is up to date, there's a new option in the launcher to check which EPs and Stuff Packs you want to play with so you don't need to uninstall.

You could always create your own world if you computer was able to handle it, though be careful about how many households you add. I love playing with custom content and recommend it, though the Sims 3 exchange has lots of bad cc so be careful with that. I recommend going to a popular website for sims 3 cc and checking that out.

That sounds like a fun idea, but I'm certain my laptop wouldn't be able to handle it.  So, my thought is I don't want to play with Supernaturals anymore, other than the normal ghosts you get in any other Sims game.  That's why I was thinking on uninstalling Supernatural, because even if I play The Sims 3 or got Pets I would still have Supernaturals there.  Sorry if my thought was already answered.
