first--computers but no money, now, money but no computers

I am so frustrated!

Looking a while back for a new computer.  Found lots of them available, but no money to buy one yet.
Today, the checks arrived but of course, Best Buy is sold out, no computers in the price I am willing to spend.   Or, in brands that I don't trust.  I am just a tad bit picky on my computers.

Either they are ones that are too cheap and not worth buying, or way too expensive.

Anyone every bought one from Amazon?  Buy a lot from there, but not sure I wan to get my computer from them.   Prefer a local store for ease of repairs with warranty.

I'm sorry you're frustrated. Computers sell out fast this time of year. I'd definitely try Amazon. You'll be able to find a lot of desktops that are in your price range.
