Haha, I know, right. It's so difficult to not talk strategy when you're dying to know what everyone is planning!!

All please be aware that telling you partly score, of what you did in your first week or how much money you had after 5 weeks, is also strategy talk.
Also talking about house values and so on.

Please i know you just want to share your excitement, but dont go into details about what happend in your files now :)

Whew! That one was tough! I'm going for the participation trophy, though, so I'm just happy to have finished.

Just posted this in another thread and thought I should mention it here. I've caught the "need decay" bug. My one sim's needs hardly decay at all during the day and the other one's decay faster than usual. I don't think it's a game breaker, but I am worried that it might be seen as an advantage since my skilling sim is the one with the minimal decay pattern (and she gets chained to the skill item of the week).

Go ahead and reset your Sim to possibly fix that.

Can I reset both of them? Will keep you posted on whether that works.

I seem to have struck a very strange glitch where neither of my sims are controllable. Time is still passing, other sims in the world are still walking by etc etc but I can not select either of them to direct them.  I can't travel anywhere as I can't select them :( I've tried repairing the game, deleting cache files and all the usual things but nothing is working. I'm going to try an uninstall/reinstall if that is ok and doesn't break the rules?

This glitch occurred when sim B came home from work, he was on the home lot but his icon was greyed out and I wasn't able to select him. I stopped sim A from what he was doing and got him to select sim B and travel somewhere and then my game stuttered and went into a never ending loading/travel selection screen and then blue screen crashed! The only thing I can think of that caused this was that I was playing on-line as I had forgotten to go off-line from earlier in the day when I was using the Gallery in a different file.

Thanks, will do and I'll post back. I probably should have done a uninstall/reinstall before starting the challenge.  :-\

*edited. Well, that's quite a long process now with all the packs etc but everything was running fine until sim B came home again. He was on the lot but his icon greyed out again. So I decided just to keep playing and basically ignore him. After about one and a half sim hours he became 'normal' and I was able to direct him again. So I'm just going to put up with this as least it's still playable. And stay off-line!

I'm glad he normalised again! I think ignorance/ignoring is a huge saviour in Sims games lol we often try to tweak stuff and then end up making it worse.
