Hello everybody! i just joined the forum, because i didn't really know what to do when  playing the sims 4 (everything just always went the same), but those challenges seem really cool and i'm going to test it out right now :D (sorry if there are some mistakes in my english it is not very good)

@Indira I stand corrected but I think you can use any lot size. At least that is how I played my test run...

Welcome, shashniae and Tboy002! @Indira, unless we say specifically what lot size you should use, you can use any lot for the challenges. "No moving" just means you have to keep your residence on the lot that you started on.

Oh my... I had vowed to never use the glutton trait again. Well, looks like an exception to my "no glutton" sims rule is needed here. I am really looking forward to this. Since I really stink at careers, this should prove interesting.

So if our sim ages to elder, do we fail the challenge then or can the be elders and complete the challenge?

Elders can complete the challenge.

General question about 2016 rules, are we also allowed to start in Windenburg or is it still only Willow Creek and Oasis Springs?  Sorry if this has been asked before.

Oh wow I hope we're allowed Windenburg! That's where I started my test runs! Although I suppose it doesn't really make much difference to my strategy where I start!

Thank you for bringing this up. I see no reason not to allow players to play in Windenburg for any challenge, so I will amend the General Rules right now. Thanks.

What about the other towns?  I believe Magnolia Promenade has one empty lot and I know Newcrest is completely empty.

Newcrest - I am okay with the lots there.  You can't add any other buildings in Newcrest to make it a full town, but you can definitely just pick one lot to play on.
Magnolia Promenade - There is just only one lot and I believe it is labeled as commercial.  You will have to change it to residential.  I rather not have players use Magnolia Promenade.

Team thoughts?

Agreed. But, I will also add Newcrest.

Tosses the two practice runs into the bin.  Okay, I think I have an idea of what to do now and New years day off.  No lamps or potions makes for needing new strategies....
