Welcome to the Forum, Eighty8Keys (do you play the piano?) and kirstydalgleish!

I do play the piano. Not many people get the reference. :)

This will be my first time joining an official challenge. It looked a bit easy to follow, which is what drew me in. Also, I like how you only need one sim to finish it. I'm bad with managing more than one sim. :D

The other challenges are quite interesting and look fun, but there are too many factors to consider. I hope with "New Year's Resolution" I can get to know and understand the basic rules. I might even start liking it. Who knows.

General Challenge Rules Update:

Added one more ban for all of 2016 Tournament events:
All 13 Plumbob Reward Lamps (from owning Sims 3 base game and expansion packs).

Clarifying question:  You have to start with the bodybuilder aspiration correct?  You can't start with a different one to get a different aspiration trait but immediately switch to bodybuilder when the game starts?

I'm definitely going to give this a go!!  It sounds really doable for a first timer.  I think it's about time I stopped lurking and started participating  :)

I wanted to do a test run for New Years Resolution, but I'm not sure what lot size to get. Do we use the biggest lot or we can chose any-size lot? Or does "not moving" mean we don't  live in actual houses and can only use community items. My first time with this kind of challenge. Not sure of all the rules yet.
