I can't wait to use the bush for my loo so the sims stop dropping their actions to go pee! I think I'll have a separate one for each sim (if its not too expensive) and maybe another one exclusively for the outdoors whoohoo lol

Woo! What a great thing to wake up to, especially during finals week.

Like Magpie, the second there were more people entered than copies, I tried to steel myself against disappointment if I didn't win. What a great way to circumvent the issue entirely!

Truly so generous. I can't thank you enough, Carl and MrsFlynn, for all the great work you do to give to the forum.

Now all I'm going to be able to think about during finals is what I'm gonna do first in Windenburg!

Making this site absolutely changed my life for the better. I have met so many great people and found my own little corner on the web to enjoy, and it great company. Moments like this really do make me happy in a way nothing else can.

I pulled an all nighter working to make an image server to take the load off our Sims sites, since interest is picking up a bit more than I thought. Hopefully the last keys are available by this evening. I'm a night owl lately. It's irresistible for it to be a long stretch of quiet time for writing and tinkering with web servers without distractions! I think I have that reward IRL and just do better between 9PM and 6AM.

Really nice to read all these warm reactions to the giveaway, I just couldn't resist with so few entries... I now wish I had just done several separate purchases, but oh well. Try to contain the excitement for the day! It is definitely a good EP as many of you have probably heard. I haven't even dug into all the various buy mode decor and stuff, it's amazing how many little things are in it. Maybe you will enjoy it even if it's not as great in your eyes given the great deal heheh

Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness and thoughtfulness Carl and Mrs Flynn. I really do appreciate the gift and look forward to trying out the features that Get Together brings to the Sims 4 table.

I couldn't justify the expense of purchasing it at this stage and was going to have to wait until the post Christmas sales to get it, but now won't need to do so.

I this changed my whole day. I woke up grumpy and sick and was not looking forward to going to school to teach my hyper kindergarten class 3 days before winter break. Then I checked my e-mail!

Oh my goodness! I entered not thinking that I would ever win, even knowing how few people entered. I'm so glad that everyone got the game! Thank you!

Thanks for testing the page gang, the image server is now taking care of all pictures on both Sims sites, which helps a lot. I have enough stuff on the network the server needs to send about 60 items (images, styling, javascript) every second during peak hours and taking pictures out made it easier to handle high loads, which we need for the days after Christmas when we see a lot more people coming around.

The 403 was what I wanted, as it would have just told you the site wasn't found if your area did not have it. I found a newer tool that tells you how far a new domain has spread, so am able to see 90% of the world will get pictures so switched it over.

*sigh* You order 12 keys in several days and I suppose it's natural someone get suspicious. I just had to provide proof of identity to pass an anti-fraud check. I doubt they'd do it to someone who ordered one, so I guess I would recommend them for that. I suppose my orders threw up red flags. Just giving the others who are waiting an update on this

Well, everyone got their keys now, so we all have a few more people to enjoy sharing our experiences in Get Together with! CJs is a pretty good seller, though I did see negative reviews that made me nervous. Ultimately, they delivered 12 keys and it seems they all worked so I'd say that's a marvelous success rate. Honestly I imagine any issues with bad cd keys were mistakes that they would be able to correct if approached with civility, something some people lack.

Thanks so much for this Carl and those who pre-ordered! I've only gotten a couple hours of gameplay so far, but it's been really fun. Cant wait to play more!

Well, it finally loaded last night, and then wouldn't you guess but I felt sleepy after being in the game for 2 minutes and shut down lol I did have to repair my games though after the download, since the only stuff it was showing was base game and Newcrest... I then went back into the game in online mode, so hopefully that was all that was needed and I can go back to offline play!

@Magpie2012 if you get the 403 your computer found it. At this point everyone can access the images stored there. I deliberately left out a page. It's just a separate server to take care of sending pictures to guide readers, so that it takes some load off our actual server
