I've never had any party bugs, so don't know what to tell you. Have you tried repairing your game? That's about the extent of my technical expertise.

Did you have food prepared? A couple said if you make the food during the party,  the option should pop up. The timer seems to be a bug. It still counts down but doesn't show it until the end.  Not sure if that's helpful at all.

Rambunctious Scamp was an issue for me as well.  For some reason no matter how playful, (and I had a lot of playful aura items near the jungle gym), it wouldn't show up.  Then one day my child invited others to come play on her jungle gym and without playful being her mood, it clicked in and she got the thing filled!  So not sure if it's a matter of having to have others to play with or what. 

As for dinner party, if you have a club meeting going on during the dinner party it doesn't want to show the call to meal option.  I tried having food prepared and cooking while at the party but until I ended the gathering it wouldn't activate call to meal.  I just ended the gathering, and once my Sim could call to meal restarted it.

Thank you sharing that tip! I would randomly not be able to "Call to meal," but never understood why not.

Can we move in spares once a Sim moves? I don't believe it states that we can't but I just want to make sure. Thank you!

Do you mean after you move the heir out? Yes, but the heir has to ask the sibling to move in; you can't just go to household management.

Before I DQ I just want to verify that spares can use the potion of youth. If they cannot I will be very sad as one of my favorite supporting characters will pass away. Just don't know if I can stand to see him pass.

No, the potion of youth is only for heirs and founders. I'd suggest that you save your character to your library and use him in your next dynasty or legacy.

Thank you for the quick response. It is a townie so I can use him in the future. I am just to attached. LOL Didn't want them to see a parent pass away. LOL
However, when my sim moved out was going to move with his sister. The sister was still in high school so to get her to move with her brother needed to have the founder separate from her husband, Paolo Rocco.

When you're ready to move an heir to a new lot, then and only then can you move out spares and helpers to a new household that doesn't have a lot.

Since you aren't in control of homeless, (those without a lot), how can you move a helper or spare in with them?  I would think you could move the spares or helpers into a house or lot.  No?  For instance, the Pancakes are my Alien's helpers so couldn't I just move them back into their house?

You can click on "create new household" and move the helper or spare to that. The only reason to move helpers and spares out and make them homeless is to cut down on the number of sims in your town and reduce the chance that one of your households will be culled. You don't have to move anyone and could leave the Pancakes where they are. To be honest, I'm not sure that culling is that much of a problem, but other people playing rotationally have said that it's possible. My experience has always been that sims in houses won't get culled, but there's always a first time.
