I was afraid of that.   I have a question about museum items.  Do they have to be unique?  Specifically for aliens.  Can they place one of each kind of item for each alien or does each alien have to choose just one type of item, for instance, geodes, and just have multiples of that item?

Multiples of each item. For example, heir 1 could have 7 geodes, heir 2 -- 7 space rocks, etc. The only time you have to have unique items within a category is if you're placing harvested fruit in the Museum instead of plants. That's because it would be too easy to harvest a dragonfruit plant and place 7 of those.

As for your dinner party -- I really am sorry to hear that it's bugged. It's one of my favorites for the Immortal Dynasty.

Have other people been finding it difficult to get space rocks and aliens from using the rocket ship? I've had a teen explore space 5 times now, and he still has nothing except and electronic upgrade part.

You mean while in flight or while in Sixam?  There are plenty of items in Sixam.  Haven't done any flights though.

Yes you can get aliens on Sixam.

I have an alien conundrum. The heir (now former heir) moved out, married an alien, and became pregnant via try for baby. Their first night in their new home, the heir's husband was abducted, and also became pregnant. I can't actually remember which happened first, so I'm not sure which baby will be born first. I have switched households now, but left one bassinet on the lot so I will know for sure who the firstborn is.
My question is, is the husband's baby even eligible to be heir, as it won't technically be part of the bloodline?

Not eligible.  The husband's baby has nothing to do with the bloodline.  Your next heir will be the baby via pregnancy (former heir + husband), the husband's abducted alien child will be the spare.

Has anyone had a customer, (Retail BLoodline), stuck in a loop?  They are ready to buy, ask to be checked out, but then everything drops and they do the hand waving thing.  A few seconds later it all repeats.  My Sims cannot help him.  I've tried reset Sim for him but that didn't work.  I'm currently repairing game to see if that works.  There are plenty of other customers but he's right in the way and can't seem to move.  Let's hope repair game works!

How can you tell when it is the baby's real birthday so that you can age up a baby using the bassinet?

I think it has something to do with routing issues (not enough space).  Try deleting several items and move the others out in the open floor space. see if that fix it?

The game will tell you, there is a popup on the upper right corner of your screen telling you it's XXX birthday today.
