You can move those pre-made families into other houses if you like or evict.  Yes, all three of your founders will still start on 40x30 lot.

I just found out I don't get it till the 10th.  I think it has to do with what time zone you live in.  As usual the West Coast of Australia is always behind in everything!    I'm hanging out to play it.  If I want to do my challenge in the new town, I guess I would have to re-start the challenge?  Or can I move my 3 existing families in there?

I want to check that I've interpreted this correctly for the Alien Collection.  Each alien has to use only one of each category, so you can only have 3 alien heirs then?  Founder does plants, one heir does geodes, one does space rocks and one does aliens?  Or can later generations also do geodes/space rocks/aliens again?

Their collections are limited to geodes, space rocks, aliens, and alien plants (dragonfruit, cowplant, death flower, and UFO plant may be included). If you want to use the harvest from alien plants, the fruits must come from plants that your alien has grown, and each must be different.

The founder doesn't do a collection, just two portraits, so you will have 4 heirs, or 5 generations.  I can see why you are thinking that though, because the rules list the alien collection options in more than place.

If you have more than 4 alien heirs, you may double up on one of the collection types.

To all our wonderful story tellers out there, I just wanted to tell you that as soon as I have my own strategies cemented in my head I will be reading your stories. Although I am VERY tempted to just dive in and read everything posted so far I do want to enjoy taking my time and think about what I want to do first. I nearly gave in @LenaLJ  when you mentioned me in your story...
I can't wait to enjoy your rival dynasty stories and journeys with you all so I better get my skates on about sorting my own attempt out!
