11/12/2015 Update to Launcher

I downloaded today's new update from Origin (thanks for the heads up @Trip). On the third try, it worked. I haven't started a new game yet, but it adds a new button to the launcher called Expansions and Stuff where you can check which EPs and SPs you want to play with, like Game Selector which my anti-virus doesn't like. I may actually buy Into the Future now, or play a processional dynasty.

If you have the disc version and don't want to have to download/install the digital version. But you'd like to be able to select which expansions/stuff packs you can play with. You can download and install the Sim Game Selector.

I've been talking with MrsFlynn about this, and it seems like it's only if your copy of TS3 is digital.

Mine is a hard copy, but I think part of the process my have been creating a digital copy. I'm not sure though. The first two tries I couldn't complete the process. The third time I click on the Sims3 icon on Origin and it said create copy. It worked from there.

My TS3 is a hard copy as in most of my collection and my update went smooth and my start up and is good. Works like it should.

I believe EA give registered owners of physical copies of The Sims a free copy on origin, so all PC users should have access to it.

The update to the Sims 3 launcher has worked well, and Sims 3 has played without issue since the patch on my laptop.
