Poses and Pose Player
« on: November 05, 2015, 03:05:57 PM »
If you're in to making movies , telling stories or taking pictures you should look in to using Pose Player.

It makes it possible to have a sim repeat a specific animation or pose  over and over until you cancel it and it works with most EA animations.

You can find it at Andrews Studio

There are more poses available on other sites including :

Tumblr
ModTheSims
TheSimsResource

Make sure to read the description of the pose (and pose player)you're downloading . Some poses only have the option to type in the pose by name , some poses are only made for substituting a specific trait animation in CAS and some poses requires you to have your sim do something specific to make it work ( for example : doing push-ups)

Also be aware that some CAS (Gallery poses) poses only can be used one at a time.

Note : Andrews Studio also has an animated Grandfather Clock and a Studio Effect Player. I haven't tried any of those yet so do not know if they work as intended. I have only tried the pose player and it works as it should in my game.

Another Note : Be aware that these mods are NOT allowed to use in the Tournament Challenge or The Dynasty Challenge(s) so remember to remove them before playing the challenges.

Note: This thread has been locked, as it's for informational purposes. If you have any game mod or custom content questions, please create a new topic.

I only live in real life when my sims need a break ;)

I really like what these kinds of posts do for both our community, the people who find us through search, and what you do for the mod/cc maker by linking. I just want to say that to encourage others. This kind of thing is absolutely essential for machinima and a few people will inevitably discover that art. Some of our storytellers might like to use it to help them to direct poses. And uh, me, as sometimes it's really frustrating to get one picture for a guide you plan to last for 10 years, so thanks.

A lot of really great talent goes unnoticed on the web, and us opening up linking to them makes things possible for them. You can't do much on the web without that first link.

I want someone to @ me whenever a creator comes here and shares, because I'd love to encourage and thank them for sharing. Maybe some of you can tell them it's a good place to showcase their creations.
