Dumb Question About Sims4pack Files
« on: October 25, 2015, 11:02:34 PM »
Hi again, I should probably know this, but where ever in the world do I put a regular sims4pack file? This is not a lot, I know that lots go into the Tray, but what about hairs? I just had to d/l a bunch of hair individually and now I have many sims4pack files that I don't know what to do with unless I have to click on each one individually? That will be VERY tedious. There must be a way to put multiple sims4pack files in that aren't lots.

Hi Sonshine,

I don't know much about Sims 4 Custom Content, but here's something that might help with installing Sims 4 package files. I'm adding the Install/Remove thread as it has other links that may be helpful to read.

Hope this helps, :)

Well, I need to eat crow now. : /  I didn't notice, but they were sims 3 packs!!! I moved them to the Downloads folder of sims 3. I clicked on a link that was supposedly sims 4 children's hair, but it was for #3. I'm trying to learn this dumb game, lol.

you can use modconflictdetector to check if you have sims 3 cc in your sims 4 cc.

There is currently no mods using *.Sims4pack files as far as i know and usually only .package or .zip where both you need to place in the Mods folder. *.sims3pack actually works like an installer file which you only need to double click and just wait until the sims 3 finish installing the content.

Hi dodi! As I mentioned above your post, I saw my mistake. They were simsTHREEpack files, LOL. I think I was overly tired when I was trying to install them. Thanks anyway though!
