Sims 4 Will NOT update ?
«

My game randomly stopped working. All of a sudden, my game will update a few percentages then send a error report Stating I should check where the files are going, make sure its still there and restart my game. I try to send an error report to Origin itself and it says to check my connection. There is NOTHING wrong with my connection. I've tried deleting my cached files and many other things. PLEASE HELP, I NEED TO PLAY. hehehe.
thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what all you've tried, so bear with me if I am repeating any tips that you have tried already.
1.
Manually uninstall
Origin.
2. Run
CCleaner and it's registry cleaner
**
for a Howto on how to use/run Ccleaner.
3. Restart your router/modem and do a
Clean Boot
4. Make sure that your
UAC is enabled and set to notify
5.
Download the latest version of Origin
and install the client - make sure to run the set up file with Admin rights.
6.
Add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin
and open the needed ports
7. When starting Origin, please make sure to run it as
Administrator
8. Restart your computer.
9. Then try updating the game again.
If the above tips don't work, try these tips:
1. Repair game - Right clicking on the game and select Repair game.
2.
Sims 4 Factory Reset
3. Deactivate Origin in Game -- Open Origin, Select Origin > Application Settings > Origin In Game and deselect to disable Origin In Game.
4.
If Error given was: Save game was saved with an newer version
If none of the above seem to help. Please post what error message you get and we can search on that to hopefully get the problem fixed.
Hope this helps,
MrsFlynn
