Career outfit on a politician's child?

So as part of a stylist's career, one of her jobs was a New Money Wardrobe for a woman named Violet Culven, daughter of a Leader of the Free World. When looking through the formalwear tops, I saw that job's top in there as well as the top for a Mayor in the same career, despite the fact that Violet's a Lieutenant in Law Enforcement and that's the only career she's had.

Do career outfits pass down families? Or am I missing something?
