This is my first challenge and my two entertainers have just aged up to elders   Hurrah, at last I can spend some $$$ on medicine for the various sicknesses they've been suffering from!

What do I do now?  Post my final score and strategy or wait until the close date?

You post your score now,  but wait until after the end of the event is announced to post your strategy.

I  just joined this site.  My game is not updated. I don't have the Internet connection good enough to update often. I've  been trying to update on my desktop computer. Been waiting over 4  hours and it's at 84Mb/353Mb. Thought I'd  try this challenge while I  wait. Sorry for awkward spacing. My tablet triple spaces and double spaces randomly for some reason. Is it OK to test it out on my laptop but wait until my desktop game updates and have it be my official challenge file since challenges have to be done in the most recent patch?

Welcome to the Forum, kagome1303.  Yes, it is aboslutely ok to test the challenges on your laptop while you wait for the updates on your desktop computer.

Desktop update failed over and over, but I got my laptop into a place with free WiFi and managed to update. I have base game only, no EP or stuff packs. (I would have get to work, but I have an error with a msvcr file that is preventing its installation. Not that it matters for entertainer career). Anyway, looking forward to starting  this challenge. Like now. Even though I have to sleep so I can get up for work in 8 hours. I can at least create my sims and get them set up.
