@Deklitch , You mean a hundred IF in the cemetery challenge? I'll have to look up the rules on that. Actually I'm thinking of starting a Khan-Doe Family Empire project next.

@PeregrineTook , Dane was trying to do a cheer up sing-a-gram for a vampire who had passed out from fear. He did manage to wake her up before she fried.

@CeresIn , Thanks for reading and the encouragement. It's much appreciated.

The Khans arrived in their last town Isla Paradiso. They’ve been moving into empty premade houses. Isla Paradiso doesn’t have very big houses. In fact there were only two that even had two bedrooms. They chose this house with a hilly lot as the best possibility and turn the gym over the garage into a bedroom for Grandpa Marc. He may have to share with the next heir.

New town…old routine. Dane went to the park to perform for tips and meet people. By the end of the day, he knew 19 sims and had 10 friends (and apparently told one autonomous funny joke).

Before midnight, a new heir was on the way.

Their first night, the Khans had an unwelcome guest. Brave Sebastian beat the snot out of him while brave Gabrielle waited her turn.

Dane had his very first performance. The proprietor declared it great. Nobody threw anything, such a polite audience.

Singing telegrams are not easy in Isla Paradiso. By the time Dane caught a water taxi and got to the location, the job had disappeared. From now on he will be more selective on what jobs he accepts.

The town’s ghosts, however, are generous tippers. $188, not bad.

Once again, the parents to be did not wish to get married until the morning of the impending arrival. They had a quick wedding in front of some very disinterested family members.

Sure enough, at 11:15pm Isla Khan joined the family. She has her mama’s skin color. I’m pretty excited about that.

Before Gabrielle could even complete her first snuggle, the camera was pulled out to the deck. I guess Marc, age 106, really did not want to share his room.

@Magpie2012 , I think the latest Khan has founder potential.

We interrupt our regularly scheduled program on the Watcher Baking Network for this breaking news:
KHAN TODDLER ADORABLE

We now resume our regularly scheduled program “Gluten-Free Baking for the Digestively Impaired”.

Okay, so other stuff happened.
Besa was stunned to become an elder.

Sebastian took up writing as an elder.

Dane completed his lifetime wish.

As did Gabrielle.

But who cares? Tomorrow the last Khan floorboo will be a Child.

Merry Christmas, everyone! “See” you after the holiday.

@PeregrineTook , Grandpa Marc obviously had no judgment.

@Playalot , Thank you! I hope you had a lovely Christmas.

@CeresIn , I love the way Isla looks. I have future plans for her. As soon as she has her YA birthday, she being saved to the bin.

On becoming a child, Isla got the trait Family Oriented. Of course, she’s the one who will not be having children.

Isla’s child years went quickly. She was tutored and did well in school…

…played on the waterslide…

…and was traumatized by her Grandpa Sebastian’s (age 91) death. You know, just the usual.

She soon had her teen birthday and added Angler to Easily Impressed, Good, and Family Oriented. She has exhibited absolutely no interest in fishing.

One of the first things Isla wanted to do was to learn to drive.

It was going really well until she drove into the ocean and emerged on the next island beneath the sand. Gabrielle was reset to a different island, the car was sent back home to the garage, and Isla ran around until she completed level 3. Well, whatever works.

Isla learned charisma from her good buddy, Debby.

Jamming with the family, she met many new friends.

Isla was all set to get her picture taken getting into the limo for prom. Unfortunately at that very moment the Khans lost their drummer. Rest in peace, Besa Khan age 91. We both thought you should live much longer.

The first notice we got from prom that Isla was having a great time and was starting to have strong feelings for Dayna. This is Dayna leaving prom.

And this is our prom queen on her way home. I guess it’s a good thing she won’t have to produce babies.

Isla has had, perhaps, the most outstanding experience of learning to drive ever!!  Also, I love how contrary she is.  Angler trait, no desire to fish.  Not having a baby?  Who cares, she likes a girl.  Isla's awesome!  Way to save the best for last  :=)

@PeregrineTook , Isla has been great, but her teen years seemed to last forever.

Isla still had a week to go before her next birthday. She’d already been on the honor roll for 3 days, and there was really nothing she needed to accomplish. I decided to set the speed at two, and instead of Watching them I would just watch them.
Predictably, Dane did a lot of this.

Gabi painted most of the time. I sold her paintings when she filled all her easels.

Surprisingly little of this happened.

It was replaced by this.

I let Dane go to a party. He managed to free himself and go home.

Dane actually made pretty good progress on his own toward level 10 in logic.

Isla increased her charisma, did her homework every day, and only got put in time out once.

When Gabi got stir crazy, I sent her to the park. All on her own she went up a level on the piano and made over $300 in tips. She stayed there half the night before returning home.

The week was probably toughest on Dane. After reaching the top as a Singer, he switched to the education career. He reached the top of that career and joined medicine. Unwatched, he went from level 2 to level 6 in just one week. It got rough when he was on call.

When he got really tired, he made poor choices like relaxing instead of just going to sleep.

They managed to feed themselves, sleep, and keep showered….mostly, and it was soon Isla’s birthday.
Her traits are now Easily Impressed, Good, Family Oriented, Angler, and Savvy Sculptor. She wants to be Surrounded by Family.

We will leave the Khans jamming forever in the park. Time to stick a fork in this project. It’s done.

Congratulations to the Khans!

@KRae which world did you like most?

Are there any worlds which you used that you would uninstall if you were to try the challenge again?

Are there any worlds which you didn't use that you would use if you were to try the challenge again?

Congratulations.  Not that I had any favorites in this story, but Isla was my favorite.  She wishes to be surrounded by family.  An Isla project looming?  One with lots of Isla genetics being passed on?

@Deklitch , Thanks. I'm a big fan of the genetics of Dragon Valley. If I had a pick a town to delete, it would be Monte Vista or Isla Paradiso. The roads in Monte Vista are so windy that it takes forever to get anywhere. Isla Paradiso is a little laggy even with houseboats bulldozed.

@PeregrineTook , I do have plans for Isla. In fact, though I haven't started playing it yet, I written an intro of sorts for a family empire.

Sneak peek?  Hints?  Family empire...that could be a legacy just as easily as a domination dynasty or a who's your daddy project or several other things.  Color me intrigued  :=)

@PeregrineTook , There is a project by Alexrandria called the Family Empire. I'll provide a link in my first post. I can't find one that's ever been completed. It'll take a lot of planning (my forte). What I'm most worried about is file bloat.
