Shaka's works choices crack me up. I like the humorous tone of this story :)

@CeresIn , Thanks for commenting, I really appreciate the encouragement.
@Malley , I really lucked out having the one I named Shaka getting the insane trait.

Another Sunday, another birthday…or two. Thad aged up first. His traits are now Disciplined, Loves the Outdoors, Vegetarian, and Handy. You want to wear your hair long and in a ponytail? Go for it.

He immediately ran out to slap at the sparring dummy. It didn’t last though. He was soon back on the waterslide.

Tina’s traits are now Genius, Perceptive, Bookworm, and Avant Garde.

Tina wanted to try some street art so the family installed a wall in the backyard to keep her out of trouble. One ground mural and two small wall murals later, she had her skill up to level 6. Then she sort of lost interest and went back to wishing to write.

The birthday excitement was too much for Suzie. Grim took her away later that day at age 90.

The family clung together for comfort.

Shaka brushed off her grief and reached level five in her sculpting career.
Shaka: I’m still not a lion!
You haven’t Made a lion yet, but you completed your lifetime wish so you can keep trying.

Shaka wasn’t the only one to fulfill her lifetime wish. Mortimer is now a Master of the Arts.

Tina and Thadius raced off to prom. They tore up the dance floor where someone named Ethan was a joke. They were voted king and queen and got into fights. In other words, a typical prom.

One day after school, Thad went to do homework with Emerald Greenwood.
Emerald: If a flower has twenty petals and you remove 12, well, that would just be mean.

They bonded over their vegetarianism and other things.

Perhaps inspired by Emerald, Thad wished to learn to garden. So sure, why not?

Tina moved on to other things.
Tina: Hmm…it’s a decent statue, but I don’t understand Mom’s obsession.
And with any luck, you never will.

A few days before the teens’ next birthday, Johnnie went with Grim at the age of 103.
Hey Grim, the headlock was unnecessary. Johnnie was perfectly content to go.

Tina loves going to the library. One day on her way out, she ran into an old friend from school. Parker Prudence (?) had aged up but still appreciated Tina’s radical ideas. He has the lowest sim voice I have ever heard.

The day before the twins were to become young adults, Mortimer became an elder, quite conveniently close to a mirror and dresser.
Shaka: It’s okay. Just take a deep breath and smell the incense.

I will be leaving for a week in Mexico in two days. Fortunately the tip of Baja will not be struck by the category five hurricane making landfall much further south. The people of Cabo are still recovering from last year’s storm. My thoughts are prayers are with the people of Puerto Vallarta. Two hundred mile an hours winds!

@Playalot , Thank you and greetings from Mexico!

The next day, Thadius and Tina had their birthday celebration. Thad’s traits are now Disciplined. Loves the Outdoors, Vegetarian, Handy, and Light Sleeper. He wants to be a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder. He will be the first male Khan heir.

He wasted no time in asking Emerald to marry him. She, of course was delighted. After all, they have so much in common. Her traits are Brave, Socially Awkward, Vegetarian, Green Thumb, and Computer Whiz. Well, they’re both vegetarians anyway. Something about her traits just screams that she should be a Master Magician. (Her stage name is now Vegomagic).

Tina is a young adult too. Her traits are Genius, Perceptive, Bookworm, Avant Garde, and Inappropriate. Her lifetime wish is to be a Professional Author. She already makes more than 4k in royalties per week so she’s ready to move.

I mis-identified Tina’s young man earlier. She talked to a lot of guys. His name is actually Thomas Castor, and he and Tina quickly fell in love…

Got married…

And moved into his family home.

And what is more romantic than a foyer wedding? A foyer wedding when your phone won’t stop ringing, of course.

Before long, Emerald was feeling quite ill. Banging her head on the toilet and puking on the floor didn’t help.

Shaka was having problems of her own in another bathroom. She waited until she was a level ten sculptor before torching herself.

The ghosts, especially Mithun, are regular visitors. Emerald , being at level 5 in charisma, has made friends with them all. Mortimer just wishes they wouldn’t chat in front of the rocker.

When Emerald went into labor, Shaka was the only one to notice.
Emerald: Well, this is rubbish.

Although kids’ music was constantly playing and Emerald watched way too many dancing bunnies, just a single blue bundle was produced. Meet little Micah Khan who is a Couch Potato who Hates the Outdoors.

Once again, an elder birthday was pending, and the family decided to hold their move until Shaka aged up. Don’t worry, Shaka, we’ll fix you up before your new neighbors see you.

And so, we bid a fond farewell to Twinbrook and all those left behind.

@CeresIn , Thanks! I'm back home safely from my trip and as soon as I get caught up on work, I'll resume playing this file.
@Playalot  and @Malley , I thinks the graveyard in Twinbrook is the creepiest. I guess it's the ground mist and Spanish moss.

@Magpie2012 , The dolls certainly add to the atmosphere.

The Khan family departed Twinbrook and landed in Moonlight Falls. Two of the IF dolls left in the Twinbrook Cemetery popped back into Mortimer and Shaka’s inventories. The little creeps. Thadius had been at level 3 in his science job. The move sent him back to the beginning. Science is apparently different in Moonlight Falls. Everyone else maintained their levels. This is their new house. The downstairs rooms are small, but there’s plenty of room for a garden out back.

The ghosts no longer register as family members, but the first night they came out in force…a flirty, attracted to your daughter/grandson force. I hope they enjoy their new existence in family inventory.

The family has a new member. Meet Sprout. He would be little Micah’s guardian, but Mortimer keeps picking him up.

Speaking of Micah, he is now a toddler who looks like his mother, maybe.

Shaka is a supernanny and was happy to put her skills to use. Micah learned his skills in record time.

Micah thinks a lot of his grandpa.

Emerald has a whole new town to impress, or not, with her magic.

Thad replanted his garden and made it to level 5 in his first week on the job.

Emerald auditioned at the only venue in town, the Performance Park. The proprietor is an awful flirt and wants to take her away to exotic places.

She didn’t get very good reviews for her first show. She was too distracted by attractive men in the audience.

Her second show wasn’t much better. Perhaps she should have worn her costume. The audience threw tofu at her. Is that good or bad?

Shaka finally sculpted a lion!
Shaka: I do feel more like a lion. I must continue!

We’ll leave Shaka meditating on whether an artist puts herself into her creations, or if the creations put themselves into the artist.

Micah became a child with the traits Couch Potato, Hates the Outdoors, and Eccentric. For a Couch Potato, he certainly likes keeping busy. He really wants to make a stink juice potion.

And buying the toy oven was his idea.

Then he was off to the library to read logic books…all on the first day. One good thing about hating the outdoors is getting to fulfill a wish to go inside every time you venture out.

Emerald found a baseball somewhere. I think someone in her audience threw it at her. She and Thad enjoyed a nice game of catch. Neither is athletic, so no one was injured.

That same evening Emerald celebrated her birthday alone, outside, in the dark. No wonder she began a midlife crisis.

A few days later, Emerald was invited to a party. She already knows 45 people in town and is friends with more than 25 of them. Okay Emerald, dance with this old guy and stop hitting on the hairy merman (Gladsten Farmwell, I think).

Mortimer and Thadius are best friends. They have really bonded over sprinklers, waterslides, and swimwear.

Micah continued his quest for the stink juice.
Micah: This thing should come with a warning label.

Micah: Grandpa, I’ll be a teen tomorrow. Will you please keep my doll, Wiggles, safe for me. I’m afraid I’ll burn it up.

Mortimer: I’ll find a safe place for it.

Purposefully or "accidentally" burning up the IF doll?  ;D

@Malley , When I was a kid, we called that accidentally on purpose. Micah wasn't actually that interested in the doll, not enough for it to want to come out and play. They can get glitchy, though, so enjoy the cemetery Wiggles.

Micah had his teen birthday and celebrated with cake and video games. His traits are now Couch Potato, Hates the Outdoors, Eccentric, and Supernatural Fan.

The Khans were awakened by an attempted robbery in the middle of the night. When the cop arrived, he politely let the burglar leave and then walked in. “Sorry, we’ll catch her next time. My, but you have a lovely smile.”
Is it just my game, or are fairies terrible cops?

Micah went home with Fawn Goodfellow one day after school, and took the opportunity to ask her to prom. He apparently didn’t embarrass her as she’s now his girlfriend.

Micah, do not turn around. Trust me on this.
Emerald is having constant career clothes glitches. I can fix them temporarily by planning outfit, but only until she dresses for work again. She, in fact, has worn less that this to work, becoming invisible.

When she becomes too worn out to perform for tips any longer, Emerald stays at the park and plays catch with whoever is available. Maybe this is why she has made 156 friends and 29 best friends. This, for me, is a new record.

Thad finally reached level 9 in his science career, completing his lifetime wish. He had a lot of extra happiness points and decided to get the family a Moodlet Manager.

And not a moment too soon. Shaka wanted to max her athletic skill, and missed it by less than an hour. Sorry Shaka, age 92, you will be greatly missed.

Shaka’s death was too much for Mortimer, age 101, so he joined her a few hours later.

Micah went to the Elixir shop hoping to find his mother some liquid job booster, but instead he found alchemy. Everybody in the family has been to the elixir shop, but Micah was the first to wish to learn alchemy. I guess it’s the supernatural fan trait.

With his career, gardening, handiness, and fishing all at level 10, Thad decided to return to his old love, martial arts. Break those boards! You never know what gems could come in handy for an alchemist. Okay, so maybe I do know.

On her first return from the beyond, Shaka hit the treadmill. I think somewhere on a great spectral tote board, Shaka has maxed athletics.

Alfred Hoppcraft came home with Micah to do homework and stuck around until well past midnight, dancing up on the third floor.

Gator Wolffe stayed even longer (past 4am). When Shaka and Mortimer made an appearance, Gator stuck around and gossiped. He did switch from his wolf form back to human, though. That’s when he decided to leave.

Emerald did finally complete her lifetime wish of becoming a master magician. She finally had an amazing performance. This time the audience threw bubblebath and another baseball.

We’ll leave Micah on the eve of his young adult birthday, deep in the basement of the library researching alchemy.
Micah: Could you build me a basement at home? I don’t even have to see the outdoors here.
